  Mother’s Day Brunch… party of 9. Made reservation to sit at the open back wall, but when seated they tried to cram us in a small pocket facing a wall. Thankfully they fixed it… when I refused to sit there. Unfortunately, after that, the first 3 beers we asked for were not in stock. Not the best start for a 3 mother Mother’s Day Brunch. But, Keishla was great! She really took care of us. Then the bottomless rosé ran out. Keishla took care of it. The pork belly was very good. New item since last Mother’s Day. The food was great as always. Unfortunately again, with a party of 9, drinks, apps, entrees, desserts & trying to look through a handheld machine to pay, didn’t see my $10 off Margaliter was not credited. We’re pretty easy and fun so it was a good time, but definitely a couple of hiccups on the day.

  I came to this place before, by myself, and I never was feeling so dissatisfied like today. The restaurant was almost empty, and they located me in the very last table outside, where it was smelling like rotten. Even though, I asked for a table inside, and they were a lot of tables empty. No only that, because I was in almost the last table, the waiter was taking forever to come and get my order. I wonder, what is the point, when I come and they are busy, I will excuse them for the slow service, but today, even if they are not busy, they are sooooo slow too. Anyway, normally, I will not do a negative experience review, but this time, they deserve it.

  ★★★★★ First time trying Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar and it definitely did not disappoint! The vibe was amazing, especially sitting outside. The drinks were great, the guac was super fresh, and everything tasted authentic and flavorful. We drove about 45 minutes from Mount Dora and it was absolutely worth it. The birria tacos were delicious and full of flavor. Also, our waiter Omar did an amazing job … he was attentive, friendly, and made our first experience even better. Great atmosphere, good food, and overall a really good experience. We’ll definitely be back!

  I made a reservation for my family of 10. We were on vacation with three kids, one elderly person and 6 adults. We’re a black/hispanic family. We arrived on time for our reservation and were told to wait for about 5-10 minutes. We’re were then seated in the back at a make-shift table right by the kitchen. Servers were walking back and forth over our heads with hot and steaming plates and bumped the back of our chairs. I had to move my kids so they wouldn’t get bumped or burned. It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. The server was inattentive and rushed us for our drink orders. My husband went to the manager and told him that it was dangerous that there was maybe 2-3 feet of room for these servers to squeeze passed us with hot plates. The manager then moved us to the front of the restaurant. The front area appeared to only have white people. It was a lot quieter. They had a few huge tables that already had 10 chairs, that would have been a better option in the first place. We complained to the manager who just smiled and didn’t seemed too concerned about the issue. The food was delicious and once we were moved our server was nice so we tipped her and paid for our meal which was over $400. We will not be returning. Highly disappointed.
