Last night I had dinner at Nami and it was absolutely amazing!! Our server Tyler was the best he gave us great service. The food and drinks were delicious with lots of flavor and the presentation was beautiful, the ambiance was so chic and sexy. Also Jayden was very sweet and attentive with our table set up at all times. Thank you for everything Nami.

Disappointed. With the menu change, the options for vegetarians are a bit limited now or lack any flavor. Our absolutely favorite was the beet root maki (we would always order 2-3). The beet root maki now (which isn’t on the menu anymore but was able to be ordered) is different - plain fried rice with beet root on top and really lacks flavor. Before, it used to be this flavorful roll with the veggies. Very boring now. The edamame and croquettes have also been eliminated from the menu. Our other personal favorites. The corn and cauliflower are also pretty flat dishes that don’t have a lot of taste to them. The mushroom donabe was actually the only dish along with the cucumber salad that was flavorful. The mushroom donabe tasted good only because of the tasty mushrooms on top. The cucumber salad was very delicious as the sauce is really tasty. We came for my husband’s birthday and the coconut dessert they gave complimentary was really good though. The service has also been great! This was to no fault of the server who was excellent. Unfortunately won’t be visiting a personal favorite of ours for a while until hopefully another menu change with better vegetarian options. Disappointed!

Nami was great. The service was phenomenal, and my server, Aldo, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He explained the food options in detail, which made choosing what to order easy and enjoyable. I also loved the ambiance. The restaurant has low lighting and a quiet, intimate atmosphere, making it a great spot for a date night or a relaxed dinner. My only downside was that some of the side dishes are only available with certain entrées, so I wasn’t able to try as many items as I wanted. Other than that, everything was enjoyable, and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Overall: 8/10.

By far one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We chose the Chef’s Table, and from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the entire evening was nothing short of exceptional. Chef personally came out to introduce himself to every guest, making everyone feel welcome and creating an experience that was warm and memorable from the very beginning. The food was simply phenomenal. Every course was beautifully presented, perfectly prepared, and packed with incredible flavor. Honestly, it’s hard to put into words just how amazing everything was. In my opinion, it’s a shame this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star because it absolutely delivers that level of quality. The service was equally impressive. The gentleman clearing plates and refilling drinks was like a ninja—always there exactly when needed but never interrupting the conversation or the experience. The chef’s assistants were fantastic as well. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and spent time talking with us throughout the evening, making us feel like more than just customers. Watching the team work together was incredible. Every dish was plated and presented with such precision and seamless coordination that the entire experience flowed effortlessly. One final thank you to Chef for generously treating me to one of his own beers. I didn’t get the chance to thank you personally before we left, but that gesture meant a lot and was just another example of the hospitality we experienced all night. Thank you to everyone who made this such an unforgettable evening. Outstanding food, outstanding service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We will absolutely be back.

Nami isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that every detail has been intentionally designed. The architecture is breathtaking, the dining room is a work of art, and the entire property feels like something you would expect to discover in Miami, Las Vegas, or Tokyo—not Lake Nona. Then the food begins. Every course arrived like a performance. Cocktails were crafted with fire and smoke. Appetizers looked like sculptures before becoming unforgettable bites. The lobster, fried rice, and desserts weren’t simply delicious—they were imaginative, beautifully executed, and genuinely exciting. Every plate made me wonder, “What are they going to do next?” The service deserves just as much praise. The staff operated with precision, confidence, and warmth, making a sophisticated evening feel effortless. You can tell they take enormous pride in what they do. And Chef Jason? He’s creating something special. His kitchen isn’t just preparing dinner; it’s delivering an experience. After dinner, don’t rush home. Wander the grounds. Hidden throughout the Wave Hotel are playful works of art—from the Charging Bull to whimsical animal sculptures tucked into the landscape beneath the glow of the hotel’s neon lights. It’s one more reminder that creativity is woven into every corner of this place. I’ve lived in this area most of my life, and I never imagined we’d have a destination like this in our own backyard. Nami has raised the bar—not just for Lake Nona, but for the entire Orlando dining scene. Some restaurants serve dinner. Nami serves memories.
