Caveat - NOT a native Chicagoan, but a pizza lover nonetheless. Full stop - good pizza - exactly what it promises to deliver. But that’s it. Based on our experience, three of us comfortably ate an order of cheesy garlic bread (more about that in a second), and a 10” deep dish custom with sausage on half, green pepper on half, and pepperoni, onion, and extra cheese on whole. In hindsight, I wish I exercised restraint and ate only one slice, but that discussion is better reserved for a ChatGPT therapy session (side note - do NOT use that for therapy - baaad advice). I digressed. We followed the advice to preorder well AHEAD of time since the deep dish takes at least 45 minutes to make. Cheesy, saucy, crispy crusty delicious. I prefer my onion and green pepper to be softer, but that’s a to each his own kind of thing. The cheesy garlic bread was neither cheesy, nor garlicky, and it was only warm (not hot and cheese-pulls from the oven). The bread was soft and fluffy, so mid on the review for that. As for the atmosphere, it was just a bit run down. The open sign wasn’t working, and the right door didn’t work, but the rest of the signage was cute. Note to staff. You are super nice and helpful, but cologne and perfume was hard to deal with for our scent sensitive members of our party. Perfume wasn’t strong but vanilla is a strong scent. Cologne could be smelled across the room. Other than that, definitely recommend. Thanks YouTubers, Matt and Goo for their review that led us to visit!
Love Giordanos!! I always get the stuffed spinach and mushrooms pizza. One of my absolute favorite pizzas. So good and cheesy. I’ve had other stuffed pizzas here but spinach and mushrooms is my favorite but all are incredible and worth the wait. Salads are solid here too. I usually get the Caesar.
Giordano's was one of the highlights of our family trip! We stopped in for dinner, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Even with the deep-dish pizza taking a little time to prepare, the service was quick, and our server kept us updated throughout our meal.
The deep-dish pizza was absolutely incredible—perfectly baked with a buttery crust, generous layers of gooey cheese, flavorful sauce, and fresh toppings. It was everything we hoped for and definitely lived up to the hype.
The restaurant had a great family-friendly atmosphere, and everyone in our group left happy and full. If you're looking for amazing Chicago-style deep-dish pizza and excellent service, Giordano's is a must-visit. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Will try to return another day and update this review. It was just my husband and I so only a two top. We went in for the deep dish and fries lunch special. We were greeted by the manager/owner? Super unpleasant didn't even say hello just sat us at a table and walked away. A 6 top came in after us and was greeted before we were which was off putting. The server finally came over and let us know they had no French fries which was pretty much what we came for in addition to the pizza. She let us know it could take up to 30 minutes which I understand for deep dish but at that point we felt we were just in their way because a huge 6 and 10+ top came in after us so we left. We hope to try it again as it looked so good but maybe we'll try the other location that might be more welcoming to new potentially regular customers.
