Flying Fish is easily one of our favorite restaurants at Disney. We make it a point to eat here every trip. The reason for the deduction of a star is due to the children's menu. My daughter and I both got steak during our last trip. It was delicious and both came with green beans. During our meal, she asked why hers were different from mine. Mine were fresh and she got ones that looked like the ones that come from a can. It made me compare our steaks too and they were obviously different. I think they should consider just making the children's meal a smaller version of the adult but not alter the quality of the meal as they obviously did here. I ended up just sharing mine with her.

My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary with a reservation to Flying Fish and boy did we make the right choice! The decor, atmosphere, service and food are 5 stars all around. Being from New England, we are super particular with seafood- having said that, each dish exceeded our expectations. The mussels, char grilled New York strip, and potato crusted red snapper were next level. Our waitress, Carla, was an absolute gem- one of the best waitresses we’ve ever had serve us both in Disney and outside of Disney. At the end of our dinner, she brought complimentary glasses of champagne for us and a delicious chocolate mousse. 20/10!!

Somehow everything was extremely salty EXCEPT for the sea salt butter (which was kinda dull along with the bread). I went with my family and we all agreed that it was way too salty and honestly kind of hard to swallow after a while. Waste of money, kind of waste of time, but at least the interior of the place was kinda cool. Staff was super nice, though
The vibe kind of felt like where rich people come to talk about being rich. Great Gatsby haha

This restaurant is incredible. The char-crusted NY Strip Steak is my husband's favorite, while I choose to request their filet with a char-crust instead. These are literally the best steaks we've had ANYWHERE. The char-crust flavor with the tender. high quality cuts of meat they sell is perfection. We've tried all of the steakhouses at Disney too, and they don't come close. But not just steaks, every single thing we've had here has been superb. Their bread service, lobster bisque, pork belly appetizer (it changes slightly often to a different profile and are always delicious), potato crusted snapper, Chilean sea bass and the lemonade mousse dessert are absolutely amazing too. They also have our favorite tasting old fashioned & their blood orange margaritas are fabulous. You honestly cannot go wrong at this restaurant and it is an absolutely must do, at least once, every single time we're in Orlando.
Also, it's not just the food that are wonderful. We LOVE Omar & Mary. They are both the most detailed, caring, hard working and excellent servers. If you have the chance to dine in their section, you are in excellent hands.
