  First visit to Chroma last Saturday evening and we really loved it. We were seated immediately outside on their covered patio. We ordered Chicken Satay appetizer ($11.75) three skewers of grilled chicken with peanut sauce to dip into, Chroma Sliders ($16.25) white cheddar, bacon jam and chroma sauce, Chopped Salad ($13.75), and Seared Tuna + Crispy Rice ($20.25). We also shared Bread Pudding with a salted caramel sauce and gelato for dessert and it was incredible. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. These are smaller portions and just enough for the three of us. Service was really good and professional more like what you would expect at finer dining restaurants. The outside patio was nice as there was a breeze and each table had fly prevention fans on the tabletop which was excellent. They have a decent sized menu and they do offer some larger entrees to share which we will have to return to experience. This is a definite recommend and a place we will return to. Beautiful area that this restaurant is located in within the Lake Nona Med Center. Outside the restaurant in the courtyard there were several vendors set up selling things for Mother’s Day. This itself was a beautiful area to spend time in. Free parking via garage.

  The food that we ordered were the small plates & we shared. We had the fried avocados, street corn, octopus, crab & artichoke dip, steak salad. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse & butterscotch bread pudding. I think that the reviews I have read on this restaurant were over rated. The desserts were the best dishes overall.

  Ruined mother's day brunch for family. Part of one main dishe came out with appetizers. When they were informed about that they didn't do a thing. Half hour later, main dishe start coming out. Forgot mom's meal completely. Trying to find someone to help, no one to help. Waitress never checked on table. Needed drink refills, tableware and napkins.. Finally got a hold of someone and the only thing they did was to bring out the plate ice cold. Serve finally comes by and say, it wasn't her fault, I check the computer and I did put the order in. Management shows up finally and says "Oh, we can take that off your bill and we can comp her a free dessert if she wants it." Then she just walked away. Never even offered an apology. How can you even offer a free dessert when she hasn't even had a meal yet??!! Very very poor customer service from management and inattentive servers. Such poor service and server still had automatic $57 service gratuity added to the bill! Obvious why they don't care about customer service, tip is already forced on. Save yourself, don't bother here!

  Chroma Modern Bar + Kitchen was the perfect choice for our anniversary lunch! The food was exceptionally delicious — packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and so satisfying in every bite. It was difficult choosing what to order, as everything on the menu sounded so delicious! From start to finish, the food tasted amazing. Special thanks to our friendly server Maria for her outstanding, attentive service that made the day even better. We left completely impressed and can’t wait to return. Chroma is a must-try!

  This place had amazing ambience for a birthday dinner party of 14. The lighting is low and the place is spacious. The steak was probably some of the best I have ever had for $75 and it filled up the plate. It was really GREAT, 15 out of 10. Top tier I must say. Let’s talk about the pasta.😩 This disappointed me, tasted just mediocre. It was entertaining the way the guy comes out to prepare it, but it just didn’t taste like the hype. I would give it a 3 out of 10 along with the grilled chicken. It was extra dry as if it was precooked and they forgot to warm it up before bringing it out. The server was inexperienced and acted afraid. Part of our food came out within 40 minutes of ordering and the other part came out 2 hours and 8 minutes later. She could not keep up at all. We had to ask the manager for drinks several times. Overall, the location is great, free parking, and maybe we just went on the wrong Saturday evening arriving at 7:30. Yes we probably would try it again to allow them the opportunity to redeem themselves.
