I've been eating Checkers and Rally's every single day since the '80s. That's decades of loyalty, and I know exactly what their food used to taste like. I recently drove 35 minutes specifically to satisfy a Checkers craving, only to be completely disgusted by what I received. The burgers were overwhelmed by oversized buns, with barely enough meat or toppings to taste. Both were so disappointing they're still sitting untouched in my refrigerator. The fries were soggy, the hot dogs were dry and shriveled, the wings had almost no sauce, and the sodas were flat. Honestly, I've had better wings at 7-Eleven, which is embarrassing for an actual fast-food restaurant. The employee was genuinely sweet, but my instructions were still ignored despite being repeated back to me correctly. What happened to this company? The flavor, quality, and consistency that kept me coming back for decades have practically disappeared. I don't know who approved these menu and quality changes, but they should be held accountable. You don't build decades of customer loyalty just to throw it away with inferior food and declining standards. I drove 35 minutes because I remembered how good Checkers used to be. Unfortunately, the only thing I got was a reminder of how far it's fallen.

It’s lunch time. Went to window as a pedestrian at 11:11am I left because though we made eye contact the ladies on the schedule running this place on 10/09/26 at 11am allowed me to walk away and did not acknowledge a customer. The ratings show it.

worst staff ever, I had to wait 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES to get my food and my order was made completely wrong! staff was super rude at all times, and at some point decided to ignore me completely! They weren’t even busy when we came in, and when I tried to get a reason on why my food took so long they gave me a fake excuse and one of the 3 workers decided to take a smoke break of 10 minutes when the others clearly needed her help!! 0/10 recommend, there are many better food chains than checkers.

Waited for so long for the rest our food while the fries sat on the counter. By the time we got them they were so cold I asked if they would remake them and the girl gave me attitude and told me they were hot. So I handed one to her and she told me if I squeeze it it’s hot inside… it wasn’t. Also, she Checked someone out at the front counter then touched all our stuff without washing her hands or wearing gloves.. not a location I’d go back to.
