Haven't been there in several years- couldn't remember why not. Then I was there- Service excellent- Atmosphere- warm even with large group(15-20). 3 choice selection- for myself- salad over dressing Soup and tasted all 3 main choices -too spicy- more like the mild spicy of mexican menu.

Our experience at the Gateway Carraba's left us with mix feelings. The food was very good but the service and the water dripping right in our table was not a good experience. The waitress apparently was new as nd unexperienced and several "misunderstandigs" happened: 1. Red Cabernet was served instead of the White one ordered. When told, the eaitress arhued thay she brought what was ordered. Eventually she agreed to change it. 2. When the food was served one of the persons on our party did not get anything. By the eay the same person was not served the salad ordered and it was given to anothe person. We had to ask the waitress for that entry, still it took some time. The manager gently offer her excuse for the water dripping from the AC and offered a free dessert to be shared at the table. Other times ay this same location everything had been very good. Yhis time tge food was good but the situation and disvomforting atmosphere did not help on us enjoying the visit.

The food did not quite live up to our expectations. I made the mistake of ordering the crab cakes, which ended up tasting surprisingly like unseasoned tuna, and my chicken breast was tough with lukewarm mashed potatoes. My son was also disappointed with his spaghetti sauce. On the bright side, my husband really enjoyed his salmon and mashed potatoes. Despite the mixed meal, our server was professional and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. Since this was our first visit to Carrabba’s, I’d be open to giving it another chance in the future and trying different items on the menu.

Carrabba's Gateway village near MCO International Airport. I ordered Shrimp Positano with the lentil soup, dinner curbside order. Everything was Delicious, I asked for the pasta to be very spicy and they cooked in red pepper flakes. Yum! It was perfectly spicy. The lentil soup had lots of sausage it was great. Also, the bread with the olive oil and the herbs, OMG so good. They send you a text message to check-in when you arrive, they were out with my meal a few moments after check-in and the young lady who brought my order out was very friendly. No complaints. Excellent Service!

Kendell, the hostess, is sweet as ever. The ba r tenders Kevin and Steve were top notch with great recommendations. From the happy hour menue, we had the spinach arancini (delicious), lasagne dip (meh-pasta chips not my thing), shrimp focaccia bites (can't go wrong with these), and mezzanine (had to take these home because I was full). My husband had the Joey trio. He said it was great- but it came with a brown gravy I wasn't expecting. For me, it was okay. Drinks were great. Tried the Italicus Spritz for the first time. It was refreshing and delicious. We will be back.
