  First time visiting this location, and it was a great experience. The store was clean, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. They even apologized because they needed a few extra minutes to update a price in the hot food section. That level of customer service really stood out to me. I absolutely loved the banana smoothie and the tequeños. It was just a quick stop, but it was definitely worth it. There was plenty of parking, and checkout was quick and easy. The best part? They had fresh guavas, exactly what I had been looking for! They're a gift for my family back in Kentucky. We're already on our way home, and the whole car smells like guavas 😂. I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely stop by again whenever I'm in the area.

  Bought chicken from their 5 for $25 special; got to counter noticed a pack smelled rancid; cashier removed from the belt and I told her I would get another pack after the transaction. When we were done a manager picked it up and took it back to the meat counter and put it back in there for sale and walked off. I picked it up and gave it to the butcher through the window and told him it was bad; smelled bad and needed to go. He took it. I got home within 10 minutes (have my Life360 route recorded) and cut open one of the packs to cook and it stunk to high heaven. Put all three packs of chicken and today, less than 24 hours after purchase, they refused refund, exchange or even apology. It’s egregious and as someone who has worked in healthcare in that neighborhood, there are many many low-income families who likely rely on these “mix and match” specials for their family. How dare they sell rancid meat knowingly. I was appalled and will forever tell you DO NOT BUY MEAT THERE. Ever.

  The chicken pastel was too sweet and flavorless $4.50 for one, I was expecting a tasty savory delight. Also ordered a medium cup of arozo con gandules, $ 4.00, taste like burnt flavor. Very disappointed. I will not be eating at their restaurant again.
