  GREAT ambiance! Several Instagram worthy picture moments. There was a fun group there teaching line dancing. They were a lively bunch that made the night even more fun. Regarding food: I only tried the bread pudding. The “cake” was cold, dense and gross. The ice cream tasted frost bitten. The server took it off with minimal issue. I’d go back for the line dancing and .

  OH 😭 yeah, that makes the issue more significant because you actually did double-tip without realizing it. I’d definitely include that, because the payment flow essentially prompted you to add another 15% on top of an already-added 18%. The food at Aroma Gastro Bar was really good, and the prices were pretty reasonable. We also really enjoyed the drinks, music, atmosphere, and overall aesthetic. Our waiter was great, and overall we had a really good experience. The only issue — and it was a pretty frustrating one — came when it was time to pay. We were given the electronic payment device, which prompted us to leave a tip, so we added 15%. We weren’t automatically given an itemized receipt and actually had to ask for one as we were leaving. Once we looked at it, we realized an 18% gratuity had already been added to our bill, despite there only being two of us. So, without realizing it, we ended up tipping an additional 15% on top of the 18% gratuity that was already included. What bothered us most was that the payment process didn’t make it clear that gratuity had already been added before prompting us for another tip. Had we not specifically asked for a receipt, we wouldn’t have even known. We’ll still be back because we genuinely enjoyed the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. However, the gratuity situation was definitely a little shocking. Now we know to ask for an itemized receipt and check for the automatic 18% gratuity before paying so we don’t accidentally tip twice again.

  I went on a last thing outing and the place was nice and nicely decorated. The atmosphere was good with people dancing and having fun but it was a bit crowded and not enough room to maneuver. Some minor adjustments and I can really see this place having a long home there.
