I'm not sure how anyone can give this place a legitimate low rating? We stopped on the way back home from Tampa. There was a sign on the highway advertising Cuban Food To Go, so that was good enough for me. One word of caution if you're just traveling through...they are located on the end of the Exxon convenience store, which is an immediate right turn off of the highway. We overshot it and had to do a couple of u-turns to get in the lot. Upon entering the restaurant, there was a long serving bar offering hot lunch items. What a variety! Since we had a long ride ahead of us, we settled on something handheld rather than a lunch plate. We couldn't decide on which one, so we ordered a Cuban and a Croquette. These $15 sandwiches are huge, plenty for 2 people. Generous portions of seasoned meats on genuine crunchy Cuban bread. They were freshly made in a just a few minutes. They offer a nice selection of deserts. The 3 ladies up front were very friendly. Excellent stop!

3 stars for the food and coffee. The guest interaction needs some work, you aren't greeted and are almost required to flag someone down to order. The cuban coffee is good, those complaining that its too sweet obviously aren't familiar with cuban coffee. The rice and beans were both flavorful, but my ropa vieja was very salty. Great flavor, but honestly the saltiest ropa vieja I have ever eaten. It was tough to finish. I was disappointed to learn they didnt have any garlic sauce for their yuca, but it actually didnt need it. The yuca was well seasoned and flavorful and my disappointed quickly disappeared. The price was a little jarring, considering I frequent lechoneras in Orlando and am more than familiar with pricing for these plates. My $20+ meal tab for lunch was a bit higher than expected for a plate and a canned soda. I hope they do well but I'm not sure if I will visit again.

I pre ordered on the app. A nice server called me to ask what kind of empanada I would like. My order was prepared quickly and correct. Very excellent customer service.

Pleasantly surprised by this cafe. Breakfast sandwich was the size of a sub & the price was $5-$6. Really could’ve shared. Also had cafe con leche which was the first good Cuban cafe con leche since we left NJ. Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s in a gas station plaza…it’s good!

Great little spot immediately off the interstate to grab some good food quickly and get back on the road! We were traveling today and needed some food. We saw an old billboard and decided to stop. My wife wasn't sure, but the place was clean, the food looked and smelled good, and the staff was very friendly! After getting all of our food, my wife gave me a high five and said I did good! Everything was as expected and no disappointments. The breakfast sandwich, fresh fruit juice, pastries, and tamales were all delicious! This will definitely be a stopping point on the trip!! (Not like old Miami good, but outside old Miami good, definitely better than a lot of places.)
