Charlie was absolutely amazing! He was so attentive and knowledgeable about the food, and he made me and my family feel so special throughout our entire visit. He always had a smile on his face and gave us such great recommendations. Our entree was delicious! We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant and asking for Charlie again!

We were staying the night in town and wanted a nice dinner. Live Fire Chefs was just what we needed.
Made a reservation on Thursday. Good thing as they were pretty full. Our server, Jia, was busy but greeted us quickly. Drinks were really well made.
My wife ordered the Ribeye and I had the Live Fire House salad w/ grilled, marinated chicken. Steak was large, well prepared, so tasty with great side dishes. My salad was large, fresh and the chicken was moist and yummy. Nice wine selection. Jia was a terrific server.
Live Fire Chefs is an unexpected gem!

From the moment we walked in, this place felt like stepping through a portal. You would never know you were in a shopping mall. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, intimate, and completely transports you somewhere else.
The service was every bit as exceptional as the food.
Shaelah greeted us when we arrived and immediately made us feel genuinely welcome. What impressed us even more was that her hospitality didn’t stop at the host stand. Throughout our meal, she continued checking in, clearing dishes, and making sure we were taken care of.
Ciara, our waitress, was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive without ever hovering, made fantastic recommendations, and just made the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable.
And Sydney, our bartender, went above and beyond. I asked if she could spike my English toffee latte with something special, and she happily created something for me that was absolutely delicious. Those little personalized touches are what turn a great dinner into a memorable experience.
And then there was the FOOD.
We had the beef stroganoff with beef tenderloin tips and the seafood risotto, and both were phenomenal. The beef tips were so tender! My husband was so impressed with the amount of actual lobster in the risotto & said the scallops were so fresh & cooked to perfection.
We finished with the butter toffee cake, along with a carrot cake martini and my spiked English toffee latte. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely divine.
We eat out a lot and admittedly consider ourselves a bit of food snobs, so we don’t say this lightly: this restaurant is worth every penny.
We live about two hours away, and we will absolutely make the drive to come back. If we were locals, we would undoubtedly be regulars.
Exceptional atmosphere, exceptional food, and exceptional people. This wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience. Highly recommend

So this was a rollercoaster of an experience. Ultimately though I will be going back. For that reason I'm giving it 4 stars.
In short the food is amazing and the staff, while noticably busy, are friendly and very on top of their tables. When something does go wrong, like with my experience, they are quick to address it. Had the night gone off with out a hitch, it would have been 5 stars for sure. Still for the recovery that won me over.
To start, the location is completely mismatched to the vibe of this restaurant. Nestled between thrift stores and game shops in a downtown strip mall, nobody expects to find upscale dinning. They do a great job making the interior feel like walking through a portal into whole different atmosphere.
Where the interior atmosphere takes a hit is the arrangement, tables are close enough that the party to the left and right basically feel like they are part of your conversation. If you are seated by the bar, expect to be surrounded by a crowd from time to time. The booths need higher backs to help make them feel more secluded. As it is they get too close to the kitchen and the traffic back and forth is noticeable.
The lament cocktail menus look like they belong to a different restaurant compared to the nice pleather bound ones, but that's okay for seasonal drinks. What was weird was being seated at a rectangle table with 5 place settings. Especially since we were a party of three. The extra chair made one side of the table feel way to tight and we rearranged ourselves immediately when we noticed the strange layout.
The wait before drinks was not too bad but the cocktails are definitely light on alcohol. They feel cheap as a result. You're basically just drinking juice.
Here's where things went wrong for us though. First their system messed up a reservation on the table next to us and so we spent a good part of our meal with six or seven people standing around our table by the bar while they tried to figure out their reservation system.
With the busy staff moving around and these people just standing by It made for a poor experience. It did not take very long for the staff to fix the issue and get some tables moved around us to accommodate the reservation, and they definitely still accommodated the reservation even though there was an error, but it did impact the experience.
Next another computer error caused one of our orders to not go through. When the meal came out only two plates were served. This is normally a non-starter for me. Any upscale restaurant should know to bring the food out all at the same time. Luckily our waitress noticed immediately and came straight to the table to find out why I didn't have a plate. She explained their computer system again messed up in the order never went through.
Here's where they made up for it. She was quick to bring out a side soup, and a free plate of garlic bread to accommodate me while I waited for my meal.
Our waitress at first seemed very curt due to the busyness of the restaurant. That changed immediately after the mistake. She was extremely attentive, our drinks were always topped up, and when my meal finally did come out she waited to make sure it was perfect before leaving us to eat.
The food was by far was the best part. I can highly recommend the Short Rib, it was fantasticly tender and the mashed potatoes were silky smooth.
I took the waitress's recommendation for the New Zealand lamb and they came out perfect, though that was the meal that was missed at first. The quality made up for everything and I will definitely be coming back again.
