    i’ve tried this place four times and one of the times I had to bring the drink back because it just tasted like chemicals. There are so many better, coffee, places around town and with much better customer service

    I had such a great experience at Dutch Bros in North Port! I got their coffee along with the maple waffle, and both were absolutely delicious! ☕️🧇 The maple waffle was so good, and the coffee was exactly what I was looking for. Everything was fresh and tasty, and I’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! 💜

    As a Southwest Florida resident who absolutely thrives in our local heat, I’m still one of those crazy people who craves a piping hot coffee no matter the temperature outside. I love testing out different spots to judge their roasts, so I pulled into the Dutch Bros Coffee in North Port. This location is strictly drive-through and walk-up, featuring a nicely shaded, covered area if you're on foot and a highly efficient double-lane setup for cars. Normally, I gravitate toward lightly roasted, single-origin Central American or Colombian beans for my espresso drinks, so I was curious to see how their standard blend stacked up. I went with a medium latte made with whole milk and Stevia. The barista absolutely nailed the texture of the milk, it was frothed beautifully and velvety smooth. The roast itself was average at best, but still made for a totally workable morning cup. Be warned, though, the cup isn't insulated, and the coffee is served very hot, making it a bit of a juggling act while driving. I had one with steamed milk which is likely not as hot as a cup of joe so you may ask for an insulator on cup of only hold long enough for a sip. To go with the caffeine, I grabbed their chorizo, egg, and cheese wrap. It’s essentially a square burrito. While it definitely tastes like a premade item quickly heated in a commercial air fryer, similar to what you’d find at Dunkin' or Starbucks, it actually tasted ok. (not great but OK). The chorizo brought a nice spice kick that made it a savory alternative to your standard drive through breakfast sandwich, even if it isn't necessarily something to write home about. The absolute highlight of the visit, however, was the unbelievably friendly staff. As I walked up to the building, I could hear loud 70s disco music blasting from inside. The crew was literally dancing and singing along, all while efficiently cranking out customized drinks. When I mentioned the singing to the barista, she laughed and brightly asked, “Oh, you heard that when you got out of your car, did you?” It created an incredibly fun, infectious vibe that you rarely see in fast food. I’m giving this spot 4 stars. It’s not the greatest artisanal cup of coffee you'll ever have, but it’s better than average and perfect for a quick commute.     We’ve given this North Port Dutch Bros location plenty of chances, but after about five visits, more than half of our trips have resulted in completely bland, terrible drinks. It routinely feels like they prepare the espresso and milk base but completely skip adding the flavor syrups. On our most recent visit today, we ordered two completely different specialty drinks—a Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée Iced Latte and a Cookie Butter Iced Protein Latte. We took a sip of both and literally could not distinguish any difference between them. They tasted identical, watered down, and totally lacking flavor. We love Dutch Bros and have had great experiences at other locations, but the lack of effort and consistency at this specific store is frustrating. After continuously paying for drinks that get thrown in the trash, we won't be coming back to this location again.

    UPDATE**** Owner generic response was a JOKE. I already went to their customer service contact before I even wrote this review. Both their Facebook team and their customer service contact team were basic canned responses. They even went as far as sending me a basic canned response that showed no one really read anything much on the form I sent and just sent me a pre- made form letter.Somehow the canned response flipped the switch like I was the one on trial and wanted more personal information I might as well just have had a sign saying IDIOT on my forehead . I didn't ask them for a dime or money back or anything except maybe a response that showed they paid attention to customers. I Just informed them of the absolutely horrid food and drink I received and their generic form letter said they needed a bunch more of my info to "train their crew" Why do you need so much personal info from me just to do basic training for your crew? I gave you dates and time and food info. Do you really need anything more personal including credit card numbers and more just to "train your crew " to make food and drink correctly? The fact that you send form letters and post canned responses here just about sums up the owners effort level with customers. If I were a young business in town I would be all over-it personally to make sure serious complaints were addressed.If you have SO MANY that it's too taxing, then thats an issue also..---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Review.......Go here if you want in my opinion crappy coffee , over- microwaved food and are held hostage for a tip. This place was pretty good when it opened. It's now slid quite aways downhill into no mans land. The baby breakfast sandwiches are microwaved into nuclear hell( seriously not kidding), and the coffee pretty much tasted like old dirt water. All that aside I'm forced to leave a generous tip even before I get my food or service ,and feel if I don't bang out a high tip my order will be made lack luster. I was wrong... even though I signed for the large tip ahead of time.... I still get absolute CRAP. Next stop for breakfast coffee and food will be right back next door to BURGER KING for less money, no shamefully begged pre-tip and better food.
