  Great family restaurant. The food is homemade and DELICIOUS! Great prices and the portions are generous. Rachel is a sweetheart and makes everyone feel like family. Worth the visit...it will become your regular stop.

  Well, the food we got was great. We ordered take out open faced turkey with mash potatoes and gravy. For sides we ordered coleslaw on one meal and onion rings on the other. We got turkey, bread, gravy and sides. Delicious. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were missing ☹️

  First time visiting here from out of town. We're building the new Wawa down the street. I was very disappointed with my Onion rings. Flavor alright. That was all I ordered for dinner. When ordered I was excited to know they are beer battered but then quantity was super minimal, so sad. We got it to go & after watching some of the food coming & going I just felt let down. My husband was happy with his okra & Reuben sandwich.

  My Bestie & I went here for lunch but got Dinner yesterday . Very fast service with such tender and flavorful food. I had the country fried steak and I will most likely return to order the same delicious thing. I took my 7 month old with me and she got a little fussy when she wanted more fries and the waitress there brought out some mashed tatters for her at no charge. Which to me was the best gesture someone could have offered to send us on our way back home with a calm baby. Also I must add. They offer so much food for an amazing price. Thank you all for your hospitality and great food.

  Total hidden gem! My mom, born and bread Hoosier, suggested it and it did not disappoint on the down-home 'just outside of Chicago' feel! Food was excellent, but even better was the service we received from Georgie! She was blunt, to the point, and even ordered for me lol, but all with a genuine smile and the warmth I would come back for alone. She made us feel so much like family, the next thing i knew, we were sharing fries like old friends. If you want a comfortable place with good prices and, best of all great service (Georgie), I highly recommend this place!
