Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MGM. G.Jul 16, 20261.0I normally don't leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing. I came in around 1:30 a.m. and placed my order through the app. I ordered two Chicken Strip Baskets. When I got home, one of the baskets didn't have any chicken strips in it at all—just the sides. My sister's drink was also wrong. She ordered a Dr Pepper but was given a Diet Coke. I called that night to let them know. They asked if I wanted to come back, but since it was so late, I said I would come the next day instead. When I spoke to the manager the following day, she came across as rude and acted like it was an inconvenience that I was asking for the missing food that I had already paid for. She told me to bring my receipt and they would remake the order. When we arrived and showed the receipt, they only handed us the chicken strips. No apology, no replacement drink, and no customer service—just a rude attitude. I'm not sure why the manager seemed annoyed with me when the mistake was that your employees forgot to put the chicken in a Chicken Strip Basket. Customers shouldn't be made to feel like they're inconveniencing staff for asking to receive what they paid for. I expect better service and a more professional attitude when mistakes happen. I will not be coming back to this location.
