  Don’t eat here if you enjoy good food. Sorry not sorry. Friend and I went tonight for dinner. Service started out good - friendly and attentive. We ordered drinks - all good and came in good time. We ordered lobster bisque and Caesar salad. Salad was decent but lobster bisque looked like a can of cream of mushroom was poured in a bowl, microwaved and played. It was so gelatinous and flavorless. It wasn’t good. It also appeared that there was a layer of oil on top of it. It was taken back and removed from the check without any problem. We ordered chicken parm rigatoni and the Romano crusted chicken salad. At this price point we expected fresh ingredients - chicken was very obviously defrosted and warmed. It was not fresh. Flavors were not enjoyable. And the chicken parm - no cheese any where on the dish. It was not fresh and not good. And the service went down hill. They never came out to check on how food was - so I couldn’t ask for cheese. Would never return - not even for a free meal.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent service! The bartender Osiris was very friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. He made the drinks very well and was always making sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really enjoys his job and treats customers with great respect. I would definitely come back to this restaurant and highly recommend his service!

  Osiris was absolutely amazing! He provided excellent service, was very friendly and attentive, and made the whole experience even better. He was professional, welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. You can tell he really cares about his customers and his job. Definitely one of the best bartenders I’ve had, and I would absolutely come back because of the great service he provided!

  I would definitely eat here again and would tell my friends this is the spot at Mercado. We met with Julia the manager and she made it such a welcoming environment. The food and the service were top tier. The drinks we had were amazing as well with a really terrific bar staff. My personal favorite was my old fashioned, the Italian wedding soup and their dessert is a must try.

  Had dinner at Taberna Burntwood in Mercato tonight and had such a great experience! Cara was our bartender and she was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, knew her drinks, and made sure we had everything we needed even though they were pretty busy. One thing that really stood out was how well the entire staff worked together. It was clearly a busy night and there didn't seem to be many people working (Cara was the only bartender) but everyone seemed to jump in wherever they were needed and everything ran so smoothly. We met the manager, Julio, and we even noticed him jump behind the bar to help Cara with dishes when she got really busy. He still took the time to come over, check on us, and make sure our food and experience were great. You don't always see managers who are willing to get their hands dirty and work right alongside their staff, and it was really nice to see. We had the grouper sandwich, which was delicious. Cara also recommended the french fries and told us they were ranked in her Top 10 in Florida. We thought she might be overselling them, but she was definitely right 😂 They were SO good. Great food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere. You can tell when a restaurant has a team that works well together, and whoever was running this crew tonight was doing something right. My only critique would be the condition of part of the restaurant. When we walked toward the bathrooms, we noticed a section that was closed off with some ceiling tiles missing and what looked like water dripping. I'm assuming they're dealing with repairs or construction, but it was a little surprising to see. Hopefully they get that taken care of soon because everything else about our experience was great. We’ll definitely be back!
