This afternoon, after spending a few hours on the beach, we decided to walk the short distance to the Sunset Bar at the Four Seasons.
We have been several times before for late afternoon cocktail, a lite bite, and we’ve been here for lunch as well.
The view is outstanding—simply breathtaking.
The mix of hotel guests and general public makes for an eclectic, carefree place to be.
The carne asada nachos, the shrimp and carne asada tacos, as well as their wings are fabulous.
I also can’t say enough about the staff— what a team! We love Eric and Kema, and all the other servers— they treat us like we’re family. Their service is always impeccable and consistent—welcoming, gracious, and accommodating are a few adjectives that describe this team. Their manager, Herman, chatted with us today too— he is consummate professional and speaks very highly of his staff.
Go for lunch, a late afternoon cocktail, or for their delicious food, anytime.
The sunset experience here is unreal as well.
You just can’t beat the view.
A great gathering place, a great team, a wonderful experience each and every every time! Have fun!

Our group of 4 went on March 23, 2026. The sunset was fantastic. Almost everything else in our experience was a let-down. It started when we drove up for valet parking and were told none was allowed without a reservation; though no one had advised us of that when we phoned earlier to find out whether we needed reservations at the Sunset Bar (we were told they don't take them). Then they said the nachos were one of their best-sellers. They were terrible. Hard, tasteless nacho chips and instead of the layers of melted cheese that we expected, they had very little real cheese but covered the nachos with some soupy 'queso' liquid. They didn't have ground beef on the nachos, but charged extra for chopped steak to be added. The steak was the only tasty thing on them. A couple of us ordered shrimp tacos, only to be told that they would be made with deep-fried shrimp. When we objected, wanting something healthier, they said they could grill the shrimp, so we agreed, and they were good. Everything was expensive. Not good value for the money. Not good music or ambiance. I won't go back.

Arrived for sunset on a Thursday - crowded but not overwhelming even with a stroller. It is pricey, as to be expected, but it was one of the better gimlets I've had the wings were fantastic - you're paying for the view and that's okay. We struggled a for a little to find a good place for a stroller and Gabriel, our server, helped set us up with a good spot and some attentive service. Thanks, Gabriel!
