- DDDRS4 days ago1.0I called in tonight, Sept 9, 50 minutes before closing. I live 5 miles away. Rudest guy on the phone picks up and immediately harasses me over whether I will get there in time. Then rude and aggressive, acting like I don’t know how to order. I have been ordering Primo Hoagies for over a decade originally from Philly area. So then I ask if the discount is good for all three sandwiches. He tells me my guess is as good as his, and I will just need to come and see. I suggested that he check on the pricing with a manager. The guy yells at me, doesn’t listen to me, calls me “a jerk” on the phone. I have never been treated so badly in my entire life at a takeaway place. I have ordered Primo Hoagies for over a decade, and everyone has been cool and friendly. This guy wanted me to not order, this “new management” doesn’t seem to be working well. Get rid of the insulting aggressive behavior or you’ll go out of business quick. I told this guy, “you need to calm down, you just called me a jerk, did I call you names?’ He said that when I suggested he check on prices for the Wednesday deal on hoagies with his manager that it “made him feel less than human, so he was justified in calling a customer a jerk.” I said “man when someone asks me a question at work and I don’t know the answer, I ask my manager and it happens 3-5 times a week.” What a disaster. Stay away from this place - rude aggressive behavior!

It’s usually a highlight, but this visit was a bit of a letdown. The sandwich was lighter on cheese than we’re used to, and the steak seemed a little dry without much sauce to bring it together. The dining area also could’ve used some attention — tables weren’t fully wiped down, a couple of TVs were out, and the bathrooms weren’t as clean as we’d like. We still have good memories of this place, so we’re hoping it was just an off day. Hopeful it’s better next time.
