- DPDebra PicucciSep 30, 20264.0Last night we went to the Pine Ridge location, craving burgers and fries. I love their fries, always reminds me of our county fair back home. Burgers were amazing as always but for the first time ever we had bad fries. Store was empty, there were 4 of us so we ordered a large fry, the bag was fuller then usual and the fries were hard. They had obviously sat, gotten cold and been refried. Some were ok, and we ate them but after we left, the more I thought about it, the more I thought it wasn’t ok. We paid a lot of money to eat hamburgers and French fries and should have gotten the fresh fries we expected. I will say something if it ever happens again.

Employees shouldn’t be bothered to offer more ketchup when asked for more than 2 packets. I’m currently working around the area and chose to eat there twice already, but I’d rather drive further to get a better dining in experience.

I repeated it, since it was a simple menu question, and he again blankly stared. The energy coming off of both workers was like a big middle finger. Wouldn’t come back to this location. No one else was in the store at 4pm and I’m not surprised. Very very hot and humid inside as well.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
