This is my 3rd visit in the past few weeks, and as a former McDonald’s employee, I wonder what has happened. Drive thru: no professional greeting. We start with a canned recording urging the usage of your app. We say we’re not using the app, then silence. The drive-through line is empty, but we wait and wait. My husband (also a former McDonald’s employee) offers a confused “hello?”, and we literally get a flat “what is your order”in response. Is this the new standard??
The interaction at the food window was no better. Someone unceremoniously thrusting their fist out the window with a bag of food. We get better personal treatment from vending machines. But it gets worse from there!! Food is cold!!! WHY??????? There is NO excuse for that!!!
If this the new standard of quality and professionalism under the McDonald’s brand, we certainly won’t be encouraging our kids to join your flunkie ranks. My kids’ work ethic and our future business will be heading to Chick fil A down the road. The experience is night and day with both PROFESSIONAL SERVICE and FOOD QUALITY, so don’t tell me good work is hard to find. GOOD MANAGEMENT is the problem here. What a joke. So depressing.
My husband and I both developed a staunch baseline of professionalism working for McDonald’s back in the day. The institution used to be SOOO impressive. Now, it seems your brand has gone to absolute crap. You should be ashamed of yourselves… and from all indications, you’re circling the drain.
This review is specifically for the Miramar Beach store location, but we’ve experienced similar shoddy quality across multiple locations in multiple states over the years. And it just gradually keeps getting worse.
But this Miramar Beach store represents an exceptional low in all satisfaction scores.
We’ll also be sharing our feedback up the corporate chain.
R.I.P. Y’all may last a few more years, but you’re officially dead to us.

The food was regular McDonald’s fare, which I happen to like. But the staff was just awful. Very surly when taking my order at the front. The little gal that delivered the food into the play place was fine but the your front people are really pretty rude. The attitude was ‘we don’t want to take your order. You need to use the kiosk!’
We were so excited to find a play place here because we live locally. But the playground itself was really quite dirty. I would imagine you have to clean it periodically? But it doesn’t look like it has been cleaned for a long time.
Very disappointed.
Probably won’t be back.

Forgets part of my order, ask for a receipt they never gave me because they claim I didn't order a large fry. Again, mcdonalds living up to its terrible customer service.
Edit: they provided the fries for free. Good customer service, however I cant go above 3 stars as with mcdonalds the expectation has become that they will mess it up.
