  The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. However, the service was much slower than expected and needs improvement. I also didn’t like that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. Customers should be able to choose the tip amount based on the service they receive. The payment screen then asks for an additional tip, which can be confusing. Parking was another downside. The restaurant doesn’t offer its own parking, and the nearby lot charged $5 per hour. We paid $15 for a three-hour visit. Great food and ambiance, but the service, mandatory gratuity, and parking costs affected the overall experience.

  Here’s a polished version of your review: We usually celebrate special occasions at Xixón Restaurant, and we have always enjoyed our experience there. Today, I took my husband for Father’s Day because he loves their seafood paella, which is usually excellent. Unfortunately, today’s meal was disappointing. The paella was extremely salty. I bit into a piece of chicken flavor bullion's cubes and it was so salty that it overwhelmed my palate. Considering the price we pay for the food, I believe the kitchen should be more careful with seasoning and quality control. We hope this was just an isolated incident, as we have always enjoyed dining here in the past.

  My husband and I stopped by for a weekday lunch, and despite the restaurant being empty, the experience was a letdown. We tried the lunch special, which ended up costing almost $50 per person. For that price, you'd expect high-quality cuisine, but instead, my husband's plate only had four meatballs and a few small sides. I am more than willing to pay for excellent food, but this was heavily overpriced for the quality provided. Definitely do not recommend.

  I have been going to Xixon for many, many years to get my spanish taverna fix, but unfortunately this great restautant has lost its identity. This place does not know if it is a spanish restautant (which it no longer is), a night club, or a Ulta DJ's jam session. Ownership supposedly changed several years ago and it shows but not in a good way. We went for the spanish show which now only lasted about 1 hour and during such the music selection was between spain and other hispanic genre. A table next to ours requested a well know spanish tune but was ignored. In the past the show would last well over 2 hours with several sessions. What a dissapointment! We were a large party so asked our sever for wines from their list to find that 3 of my choices were out of stock, and the bottle I did select they only had 1 bottle left, same for alternative selection I made. Our waitress was very nice and did try to make up for obvious shortcomings. The food, 2 stars at best. Prices have increased, portions were smaller than previously and not what we were use to at this restaurant. We ordered steaks which were good and served sizzling and hot. We ordered the black ink paella, it was room temperature and clam toppers were cold. The sangria at $50 was too sweet and extremely overpriced. The decor has been redone and great for a night club but has little resemblence of a spanish taverna which is what this place was known for. Sad to see such change to a place that holds great memories for us. Will not be going back anytime soon, or possibly ever.

  El sitio muy acogedor, los entrantes espectaculares, solamente dos detalles a señalar: uno, cuando hay show programado te dan la opción de pasar al salón del show pero no te dicen que esto implica un fee adicional que aparece sorpresivamente en tu cuenta final, como tampoco tienes opciones de seleccionar la propina y te la cargan en la cuenta final (en nuestro caso fueron casi 100 dólares, sólo por propina u esto lo consideré exagerado); y lo segundo, que no tengo buena opinión respecto al plato fuerte, no me gustó su confección y tuve que dejarlo. Por lo demás, recomendable, es un sitio agradable para compartir en familia y consumir tapas y entrantes, sólo que preparen el bolsillo.
