  Waited a few minutes for the hostess to come back to the front think she was busy chatting. Took a minute to get service as well because the place was busy earlier in the evening. Food was fantastic and great options. Wonderful views of the river, passing boats and the scenic area.

  My experience at Pasión del Cielo in Coral Gables was quite disappointing. The coffee I ordered was very poorly prepared, and considering that the prices are higher than what you find at many other coffee shops, I expected much more from both the product and the service. The price itself would not be an issue if the overall experience matched it. However, beyond the coffee, I was also surprised by the lack of professional presentation and care from the person serving me. When handling food and beverages, I believe it is basic to maintain a clean and professional appearance, especially keeping hair properly tied back and paying attention to hygiene and presentation. What I found most unpleasant, however, was the attitude. I felt I was being served reluctantly, with very little friendliness and almost no interest in providing a good customer experience. A place can absolutely have a modern, casual, or alternative style, but hygiene, good manners, and customer service should still be essential. In the end, everything matters: the product, presentation, cleanliness, attitude, and service. If I am paying a premium price for a coffee, I expect those elements to be up to standard. Unfortunately, I left very dissatisfied and with little desire to return. A business can have a great location and charge premium prices, but when the quality of the product and, above all, the way customers are treated are neglected, the entire experience loses its value

  We had such a great experience at Tanuki, and a huge part of that was our server, Juan\! He was incredibly fast, efficient, friendly, and attentive throughout our entire visit. He made us feel so welcomed and taken care of, and his service truly made the experience stand out. Juan definitely made us want to come back for more, and we’ll absolutely be recommending l to our friends and famil. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service thanks to Juan!!

  From the beginning, the staff acted pretentious. Others were sat prior to us without reservations. The service was molasses slow. I understand that 4 courses take a while but it wasn't just us. The table next to us waited 1 hour for their food. They were very upset and made a mention of it. The waitress and manager could careless. People sat after us left prior to us. The food was at best mediocre. Didnt have the desserts advertised. Instead had a dry (crumbled upon touch) cake and mochi. Childlike desserts are meant for exactly that. Cater to your audience. You would think if the food was not as good your service would make up for it. Unfortunately, not the case. Not a place I'd recommend or return. Stars are earned. But good and bad.

  Such a great dining experience at Tanuki! We had the Japanese Braised Short Rib, which was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the Mongolian Beef, which had the perfect balance of savory flavors and was so satisfying. For dessert, the Basque Cheesecake was creamy and delicious and the Mitarashi Dango was such a fun and unique way to end the meal. We also enjoyed the Half Maine Lobster, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Everything from the food to the presentation made the experience really memorable. Definitely a great spot in Miami for anyone looking for delicious Asian-inspired dishes in a beautiful setting.
