  We walked into Pei Wei ready to dine in and stood at the counter for a long time with no one taking our order. Multiple customers who came in after us (at least 3) were helped ahead of us because staff prioritized online and mobile orders. No acknowledgment, no “we’ll be with you shortly,” nothing. We were invisible. We chose to stay and eat because we were already there and hungry, but this experience was extremely frustrating. It’s clear the restaurant is set up to favor online orders at the expense of in-person guests. Basic counter service shouldn’t be this difficult. If you plan to dine in, be prepared for potentially long, ignored waits while staff focus elsewhere. This location desperately needs better staffing, training, or processes to handle both online and walk-in customers fairly. Very disappointed and unlikely to return for dine-in. Takeout might be the safer option here.

  I just got done waiting 30 minutes for my order while there was literally only one person dining in the restaurant. I hadn’t been to Pei Wei in a while, but I used to genuinely enjoy it, which makes this even more disappointing. I ordered the honey chicken with fried rice, and honestly, the rice was terrible - completely bland with no flavor at all. Unfortunately, the service matched the food. The staff looked uninterested, lazy, and miserable the entire time. Safe to say I won’t be coming back, which is a shame because I live within walking distance. Management seriously needs to invest in better chefs and staff who actually know how to cook fried rice. It seems like a pretty basic concept, but apparently not here.

  Quality of food not the issue. Put in my order in for delivery and was delivered in a fair time. When we opened the order, chicken dumplings were missing. I figured not a problem, when I called the restaurant the girl who answered said there's nothing we can do your order is sitting here. I mentioned that im disabled, and she still insist I come pick it up. I asked to speak to the manager and she just hung up the phone. Called back three and samething just hangs up the phone. The $8.20 is not the problem the way she decided to handle it, was the problem. Never offering even a refund. Had to call Grubhub for refund! If ordering online stay away, it seems they were never taught customer service.

  I would like to complement the General manager, Jose. I usually use DoorDash as the provider to have this delivered to my home and Jose’s answered the phone several times for me to make sure my order is correct and he greets me with so much kindness and hospitality. He may be the best GM I’ve ever known in the Resaurant business. If you’re looking for a great experience, this is the place.
