At the young age of 22, Adrianne Calvo was inspired to open her namesake restaurant, Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Bar (“Chef Adrianne’s”). The restaurant quickly grew in popularity with Calvo’s Maximum Flavor cuisine infused in all corners of the menu – from her 24-hour Braised Prime Beef Short Rib to her insta-famous French Onion Soup (only served on Tuesdays).
In 2014 and 2017, Chef Adrianne’s was awarded Best Restaurant by Miami New Times’ Readers’ Choice Awards, but Calvo had more than just the fan vote, the media agreed. The restaurant was also named among Zagat’s 15 Most Unique Restaurants and noted as one of the 17 Most Important Restaurants in Miami by Thrillist.

Our waiter, Alonso, struck the perfect balance—he was attentive, knowledgeable, and always there when we needed him, while also giving us the space to relax and enjoy our meal. The brown sugar salmon was absolutely to die for, and my husband’s filet was cooked to perfection.. Every bite reminded us why we came back after all these years. The biggest and best surprise? Chef Adrianne still serves her incredible bread pudding dessert! Whatever you do, don’t leave without ordering it\. Trust me—you’ll thank me later! It’s rare to find a restaurant that maintains this level of quality and consistency over so many years\. We can’t wait to come back again.

I’m 8 months pregnant, and he even thoughtfully offered me chipped ice without me having to ask, a small gesture that meant so much and made me feel genuinely cared for. He consistently checked in on us, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a warm, welcoming attitude. Outstanding service like his is hard to find. Thank you, Alonso, for making our visit so enjoyable! We look forward to coming back.

Our waiter, Bryce, was attentive, knowledgeable, incredibly detailed, and had an amazing personality that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I started with the crab cake appetizer and then had the 24-hour short rib for my entrée. The short rib was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and I can personally confirm that reheated for lunch the next day, it was somehow even better! Every bite was packed with flavor, yet so delicately balanced. The best way I can describe it is this: the first bite makes your taste buds breakdance, then they immediately transition into a graceful waltz. It was simply unforgettable. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a Blood Orange Old Fashioned, which was perfectly crafted and absolutely top-notch. For dessert, I ordered the bread pudding. Because we were celebrating a special occasion, Chef Adrianne went above and beyond by creating an off-menu version featuring blueberries. It was extraordinary! I honestly wished I had a second piece just to enjoy the next morning with my coffee. It was the perfect ending to an incredible evening. Congratulations, Simone, on your accomplishments! And thank you, Chef Adrianne, for delivering such a memorable, gastronomic experience. Every detail—from the service to the cocktails to the unforgettable food—was exceptional. My first visit was everything I hoped it would be and more. Definitely a chef’s kiss. I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!
