- BCBruno Costa4 days ago4.0First time I eat Five Guys was in Barcelona, december 2025, and I had a hard time with my digestion. Nevertheless, the burguer was really good, with a lot of flavour. I gave it a 2nd chance at Miami, and had the same problem. The meat, and all the rest was fantastic, but another hard time digeston. I'm really sure is from frech fries oil. Since is my problem, I wish you alll the best, because you have really good food.
- SMStefano MazzaSep 26, 20262.0It is a typical fast-food chain similar to McDonald's, which I usually prefer to avoid. However, it works fine for a quick emergency stop if you need a fast meal. The food is standard industrial fast food, but frankly, it felt overpriced for what you get. Okay only if you have no other quick options around.
- AAAmin AlawarSep 17, 20261.0Worst 5 guys I've ever been to! Almost ate the whole burger. At the very last bite, it was hell disgusting and awful to see this very long hair! I don't have long hair at all! You guys please make sure to take good care of your hygiene. This was on 9/17/2026 at 4:30:34pm. This was very disappointing. Instead of rushing in preparing the burger and starting to shout out, please prepare with love and full hygiene. This is my first bad experience I've ever had with 5 guys. Tried it in Houston, Chicago and Ohio, but never like this experience I had in Miami beach's branch! I'll never consider 5 guys again me and my family. Thanks!
Frequently Asked Questions About Five Guys
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.
You can read more about the story of Five Guys at www.FiveGuys.com!
How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
