    Went to eat with my Son, our server was polite just not very knowledgeable. I specifically requested my chicken breast to be char grilled and well done. It came out undercooked after being done on the flat top! I sent it back again specifically asking it to be redone on the regular grill! Again it came back with the same toppings they just pushed off after they put the same cut of chicken back on the flat top grill which only fries food. Even my Sons sirloin wasn't grilled, it was fried on a flat top griddle! I will never recommend or eat there again!

    We have Been to the Merritt Island Outback a hundred times but it might have been my last visit a few weeks ago. My wife and I sat at the bar like always. This night I got the "very safe" grilled chicken and broccoli and my wife got the toowoomba salmon. We also had some drinks like always. Well, the broccoli came out pure mush and the chicken was extremely dry like it had been cooked long ago and just kept warm under the heat lamp. My wife's $28.79 salmon dish had a thick black film on the bottom of the entire fillet where the skin once was. It was like that didn't fully clean the fish. Of course with both dinners being completely unsatisfactory we did not send anything back other than the broccoli which came back perfect on try two. What a bummer that after a very long day at work that this is what we're stuck with. The next day I was still ticked about spending ~$100 on a dinner that was lousy and service which was less than average. Turns out I got one of those "how did we do" emails in my inbox the next day. I filled out the questionnaire and said what I am saying here and submitted. After a several days, I did not get a response. So, I filled another one out thinking the first one somehow didn't get submitted. Well, a week went by and I never heard a thing about that second dismal questionnaire either. Now I'm really frustrated! So I called Bloomin Brands and asked why do they have surveys that people waste their time filling out when there isn't going to be a response of any kind on their end. I was told that the submitted questionnaires had not been received yet . . . . . but, oh wait, out of the blue, the lady says "oh wait, they just came through". So you mean to tell me after over a week they just came through right when I'm on the phone with Bloomin Brands? Come on! It was then that the woman said the area district manager would be calling me to discuss our visit within a few days. Well, that was 10 days ago and nothing. This is a VERY bad look Outback. So, the bottom line is that this Outback which was always one of our favorite go to places, is now just a "well it was good while it lasted" type place. There are WAY too many other places to go and have a religiously good dining experience - especially if you are spending $100 for two people. This Outback unfortunately has management (and cooks) that simply doesn't care. My money will be going where they do.

    Food is terrible now! I’ve been going to Outback Steakhouse for over 20 years. I just can’t believe the price you pay for subpar food. The portions have gone down dramatically and the inconsistency with food is very surprising. We were a party of 10 and every adult with our party was not impressed with there in fact very disappointed ☹️. So sad to see this restaurant go down like this after so many years of loving to go here. Our service was great so I don’t want to put them down for that everyone was super friendly and nice hence why I did more stars but ultimately food is why we were there! Unfortunately we will not return 😒
