    I LOVE SMOOTHIES FROM TROPICAL SMOOTHIE CAFES. For the past five months we have been regular customers and several times a week we make a purchase from one of the four cafes we frequently visit. I CAN NO LONGER recommend the Tropical Smoothie Cafe at 1520 South Babcock, Melbourne, Florida. This review is about this restaurant and my experience. I just left this cafe where my husband and I spent 45 minutes waiting for our order. The service was one of disregard for the customer. I am attaching my receipt. There was one man serving a room full of customers (standing and waiting). Service was slow. I stepped toward the counter to order from Echo (a new employee). Then I waited and waited -- a long time. Others came in, received their orders and left. I had not been served. I spoke to Echo, asking about my order, he was very agitated. I went to counter and Cathy (the manager) came out and apologized that it was so slow. I told her that I felt she needed to use another worker on the front counter. After she left I stayed at the counter. Another young man came out and handed me one of the three drinks I ordered. But it was not what I ordered. It was a Junior Detox not a Jetty. I said, "This is not what I ordered." [I ordered a Detox Smoothie and a Jetty Junior] .He pointed to the ticket on the cup [ which said Detox] and argued it was what I ordered. I pointed out [from the receipt] it was not. Saying nothing, He took it back. Later he returned with a Jetty Cup. Correct but now I needed my Detox drink. He was agitated and said "You said you didn't want it." He seemed confused . He left. I asked to talk with Echo who responded in anger and turned to storm off, I said "Wait, I would like a refund. It's been over 30 minutes. I need to go". I stood another ten minutes with no one bringing me the smoothie or responding. I then told him to get me the manger. He was so angry in how he responded. I felt fear. When I saw a smoothie exactly like what I ordered go to a lady who had arrived only five minutes I said to the young man. What's going on? He too was frustrated and said something about a ticket and the blender. Echo appeared and was upset with me. Really angry. I felt like it was wrong for me to want to get my order right or a refund if for some reason the management can't deliver correctly. The manager came out. I told her I was a faithful customer and had never been treated this way. She said she has been the manager and she had never seen me. I am thinking all she had to do was pull up my record of purchase. I went and got my husband out of the car. He came in, and she said, "Yes, I recognize you" . I ask my husband, "How long have you been waiting?" He answered 45 minutes . She then began to try and explain what transpired and why, including why she cannot make a refund. I said "I understand things happen but it does not justify the manner and attitude with which your employee demonstrated to me." She continue to explain as a manager she can not rebuke her employees in public. She said I will not dress them down publicly, I will handle this privately. I then shared that I felt her continued effort to justify why they could not refund the money and why the service was slow and how she would not dress down her staff publicly, seem to disregard my concern for the lack of timely service and the conduct and temper of her new trainee, Echo. I stated that he owes me apology. That did not happen. I understand bad days, long waits, incorrect orders can result from a new employee but the inability of a trainee to be friendly and the inability for a manager to refund or compensate a customer for an incomplete or incorrect order will keeps me away. I will not be returning. . If you want great service go to 4700 Babcock Street, NE Suite 9, Palm Bay! There you get incredible service, compensation when needed, quick organized and friendly service

    Didnt follow instructions on order. Nothing is labeled. Food still very good. Please add QC anti-tamper stickers on drinks and food and bags for deliveries. I had a sketchy driver. Food completely unprotected. You just dont know about people. Also, prices are significantly higher than other states. A happy hour promo would be great.

    I ordered a wrap today after work and I was so hungry and really didn’t have the money to spend on it but I placed a take out. The buffalo chicken wrap was so hot I couldn’t eat it! Very disappointed! Won’t waste my money again!

    I believe her name was Holly? Lovely older woman took my order! It seemed understaffed today and she had amazing customer service and made probably the best smoothie I’ve had from here yet. Just wanted to leave this review because I see you girl and you’re killing it with what you’ve got!
