  Very disappointing experience. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, and after it finally arrived, we had to wait another 10 minutes just to get forks. We came about an hour before closing, and the restaurant was nearly empty, so there was really no excuse for such slow service. The food was just as disappointing. My cheeseburger was served with only a bun, a beef patty, and melted cheese—no lettuce, tomato, onion, or any of the standard toppings that were expected from the menu description. The onion rings were extremely overcooked with a thick, hard batter that actually scratched the roof of my mouth. This was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Poor service, poor food, and definitely not worth the money. I won’t be coming back.

  The atmosphere was lively, fun, and had a great beach vibe that made the whole experience enjoyable. The food came out fresh, tasted amazing, and everything exceeded our expectations. What really made our visit unforgettable was our server, Adrianna She was kind, professional, and so attentive throughout our meal. She checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and always had a smile on her face. You can tell she genuinely cares about providing great customer service. It’s rare to receive service that leaves such a positive impression, and Adriana definitely did that. We’ll absolutely be coming back, and we hope to have her as our server again. Thank you for making our visit such a great experience.

  I had an amazing experience at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Madeira Beach! The atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and full of energy. The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious, and the overall vibe made it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. A special thank you to our waiter, Adrianna, who made our visit even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made us feel welcomed. If you’re dining here, I definitely recommend asking for Adriana. She truly helped make our experience memorable! I can’t wait to come back!

  First of all I don’t know why they let us wait 30-45mins and i can see the tables were not full. Mediocre food. Mostly fried. Overpriced for quality. Even the garlic bread is so plain that even i can make it better at home. Jambalaya is good tho, spice level is perfect. The pastas has lack of flavor and sauce, tastes dry. First time trying and disappointed. The waitress is good in talking but she’s lack of attention and its not busy at all that time (we were seated around 9pm) she served our food without giving us utensils and we have to ask another waitress for it. The store itself is alright, my husband is a big Forrest Gump fan and they have a big collection of memorabilia’s from the movie and also a souvenir store. We also took a picture on the photo booth (for a fee) Our first time and disappointed, we are not sure if we’ll come back again. Went today 06/19/2026 @ Madeira Beach

  Utterly disappointing. After wanting to eat at a Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant for years, I finally did it and was so hugely disappointed. I try to be fair but this was one of the worst places I have eaten in years. In short, the food seemed like generic frozen food from a bag. The cheap kind. Small shrimp. Chewy batter on the fish. Salty gumbo. It reminded me of eating at my son’s elementary school cafeteria. An utter failure at so many levels. And we had to ask five times for silverware while the waitress went in circles. It took three people and asking five times to get the silverware. Such a shame. Insulting even to be served food like that in a restaurant that should be doing way better. Who at corporate isn’t paying attention to what they try to serve people or approved of the product sourcing. They should probably be fired. Cheap frozen food from a bag?
