I recently had a visit to Scarpino's and let me tell you ; the energy in this restaurant is fresh and vibrant. Service was amazing and it was so nice to witness a staff with happy, positive, can-do energy! This is sometimes difficult to find these days.
We started with fried zucchini and filet carapaccio - excellent and perfect temperature! The entrees were amazing, I personally had the spaghetti de mare and was impressed with the fresh tomato sauce , perfectly balanced with succulent seafood- it was so good. They also have a great wine list heavy on reds from the Piedmont region of Italy- love it!!
I will definitely be returning soon to enjoy more items on the menu .

We wanted to try something new and the 5 stars reviews here didn't disappoint.
This place is definitely a hidden gem that was well worth the hour drive.
The restaurant is appointed beautifully with plants throughout that make you feel your in the grandma's garden eating dinner with friends.
The food was fabulous, we started withe Georgia Rolls, with were soft and tasty. I had theChicken Alla Vodka, a twist on chicken parmesan, that came with a fiery tableside presentation that’s incredible.
Our server Lou, was prompt, friendly, and very knowledgeable answering our many questions about the menu and the restaurant's history.
Bri the manger while checking on us found out we were celebrating my birthday and made some special for me. She presented a chocolate espresso mousse that was heavenly.
The restaurant was a great find, worth the drive. I can't wait to go back.

Let me be gracious and say that the place is exquisitely decorated and professionally manicured and handled before.I say that they have no business selling pasta that's unflavored.I mean, what the hell is going on there.... Let me also say this the twelve.Inch pizza was delicious. The fettuccini francese is abysmal, the chicken that came with it though, is a ten
The carpesio de fileto is pretty good. Although my wife wasn't impressed, I thought it was impressive. And serviceable although the flavor was overridden by the
Balsamic.
All that sad I give the pizza a nine.I give the pasta a one.It was good quality but had zero flavor and you could see it in the pictures. It has no sauce and no flavoring. There was maybe a dozen capers in the dish. The three pieces of chicken were also a nine and delicious, but eighty percent of the food was a fail. The likelihood that we would ever return here is pretty close to 0 and from the experience alone. I realized from observation that the people that came in and ate there are regulars and they order their food very specifically, with very much detail.Because they know that if they don't, they'll end up with a dish or dishes like ours

The food in general was really bad.
The pork chops were extremely overcooked and tough. It was like eating jerky drenched in an overly tangy balsamic sludge. The broccoli tasted like it had been frozen, warmed, and served with no seasoning.
They highlighted their Chicken Alla Vodka as a specialty. The pasta was severely overcooked, the flambéed cheese tasted artificial and drowned by the excessive alcohol that didn't fully flame off, and the vodka sauce had little flavor to it.
The only saving grace were the mussels. The thin red sauce they were served in was rich and tasty.
Overall, not great. I may try it again someday to see if I just had a bad experience.
This was our first visit to Scarpino’s in Lutz, and it definitely won’t be our last. We were greeted warmly and seated right away in the second dining room, which had a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Our server, Erin, was friendly and attentive throughout our meal.
We started with the Giorgio rolls, which were light, fluffy, and delicious. For our entrées, we had the lasagna and chicken piccata. Both were excellent, but the lasagna was easily one of the best we’ve ever had.
The generous portions, great flavor, and wide variety of menu options exceeded our expectations.
We also had the chance to chat with Erin, who spoke very highly of the management and her coworkers. Hearing how well the staff is treated says a lot about a restaurant and reflects in the outstanding service we received.
Excellent food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere make Scarpino’s our new favorite Italian restaurant.
