Man. What has happened to this place. I didn’t want to send a review. Just the last 3 times I’ve been here. The food was terrible. Need new management at the top. Or this burger place will be out of business in probably a year. I used to go to 5 guys at least 2 times a week. Now I’ve only been 3 times in a month. Probably won’t go back. The food sucks anymore. All the way down to the peanuts. I can tell they are trying to cut back. But stop putting the old peanuts on top of the new. Throw ‘em away. If you’re the manager go look at the peanuts at this store. They have mold on ‘em they’re so old. Smh. I hope change is in the near future. Because I used to love this place. Now I compare ‘em as another Burger King. Across the street is shake shack. Much better. A little pricey. But you get what you pay for. Not like 5 guys now. Soggy french fries I mean, they were barely cooked knowing the guy cooking them would not have even eaten them. I really thought they started to cook them turn them on and then heated them back up.

Ordered Uber Eats at 8:30 PM and somehow managed to go through FIVE different couriers because the order still wasn’t ready over an hour later. Every single courier ended up canceling because of the ridiculous wait. And apparently, on top of not being able to get an order out in a reasonable amount of time, the phone number listed on both Google AND your own website is out of service. So customers can’t even call to find out what’s going on. 🤦🏼‍♀️ This is exactly why the Bruce B. Downs location should have never been closed. I ordered from that location plenty of times and never once had an experience this terrible. An hour+ wait, five canceled couriers, and a dead phone number. What a joke. Do better.

I guess when you do online orders, they don't like to give you fries. Just did a big order and when it got delivered we had 2 half empty bags of their supposed relugar sized fries. When I go inside other locations they fill the bag up. It's so inconsistent. Leaves you confused on how to order in the future. But I'd skip this location for online orders if I were you.

5 Guys Lutz has been my preferred burger spot for years. My wife and I visit this location at least 3 times a month. We always order the same thing 2 burgers and a small fry and never had a complaint. Tonight was different. You can actually count how many fries were in the bag. When I emptied the bag it even looked smaller. In the last 50 times I have been here this was never the case. I spoke with Austin and let him know the portion of fries was xtra small tonight. I asked if he could add a few extra. Austin replied “You ordered a small fry, That is what you get.” He did not even come to my table and see for himself. I told him I will never and I mean never come back to this establishment and anyone I know will not be back. You would think they would appreciate your business. There is to much competition in the area that would appreciate my business, my family and all my friends. I have lived in Wesley Chapel for over 25 years and I am actively involved in this community.
