Was told due to the fact that their machines are a predetermined portions. For 7$ I got a medium drink. Went to a different location in the SAME TOWN less than 24 hours later and ordered the same drink got over 90% of the drink I ordered and also it was 50 cents cheaper. Can't really use regional pricing factors for that one. Do better management because the staff are incredibly nice but no one will go if they feel ripped off. Pictures here as evidence. (Yes I know I have a straw in the first one, was simply too dumbfounded about the whole situation to pic it before.)
