  The food was ok. If you grew up in Trinidad, it’s nothing spectacular. The bara for the doubles are too thick and the channa was too hard. I got a beef wrapped roti which lacked flavor. There was a lady from the Bahamas who assisted me and she had a bad attitude. Unfortunately, they don’t have any chadon beni sauce which is a big part of Trinidadian food. It would be good if Singh’s taught their workers about the different types of foods and sauces they are preparing for customers and teach them how to wrap roti as well so it’s not messy and everything can be evenly distributed so you’re not taking 5 full bites of just roti with nothing else.

  doubles was good, however, I like my channa to be a bit runny and a bit darker (with geera) in color. Overall, great taste.

  Singh’s is just fantastic. Honestly, if you want a true taste of Trinidad but appreciate when a spot puts a cool, unique twist on traditional food, you have to check them out. Their classics are always spot-on, but things like the Saheena Balls and their Trini-style lo mein are so good. My absolute favorite thing to do is wash the food down with a cold sorrel and wrap things up with some Phat Boy ice cream. It's easily one of the best Caribbean restaurants around for fresh food, great variety, and authentic vibes. You won't be disappointed! 🇹🇹 Cheers and see you soon Singhs!
