  We were promptly greeted as we entered which was nice. We ordered the Southern Breakfast right off the lit menu. It's supposed to come with bacon strips, eggs, toast & grits for about $12. The young cashier informed us that they were out of grits. We politely asked her if we could get the hash browns in place of the grits then. After all, the hash browns cost less. She agreed. Then she rang ea item up separately which came to a total of $17, not the $12 on the menu board. I ordered the everything bagel with lox for aprox $16. Not a problem. The Southern Breakfast came out 1st. The hash browns were prefrozen fried cubes. When we mentioned this and the price increase that we noticed now that we checked the receipt to see how the order was actually placed by the young cashier, we were virtually dismissed. My guest was 1/2 way finished with her breakfast before I was called up to the counter and informed that they were out of everything bagels. They had not even started my order which was the simplest of the two. I accepted it to be on another flavored bagel.6 more minutes past and they called me up again to tell me they were out of lox. They should have known this when they opened. My guest was done with her breakfast. So much for enjoying a meal together. They were supposed to refund to my card the bagel with lox and the difference for the unwarranted upcharge on the breakfast. Then charge me for the plain bagel with cream cheese that I was left to choose. While waiting longer on that bagel, We saw them refill the everything bagels. We refrained from commenting any further to them. The plain bagel with cream cheese was not toasted as ordered but tasted fine otherwise. We asked for a receipt validating the refund of difference to my card. They gave us a receipt that showed another southern breakfast ordered(which we did not receive) and the plain bagel that I did ($5.)Then the total owed zeroed out. Nothing stated about the refund of the $16 bagel & lox that I never received. The full charge is still on my card. No credit pending. We'd love to support a local, minority & women owned business. Unfortunately, This experience will force us to go elsewhere and tell our friends to do the same. *** Update. A proper refund has been received to adjust price correctly.

  i got a bagel and a coffee the bagel was a 10/10 so yummy and the woman in there were super friendly and doing there job great would recommend! cute little dinner vibe

  I got a grilled chicken sandwich. Bagel and sandwich were delicious and service was friendly.

  First time trying and did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. Tastes like when your mama or grandma cooked it on a Sunday morning iykyk. Whenever in Lakeland this will be my first pick.
