I haven't eaten here in months, and today reminded me exactly why I stopped coming.
I decided to take advantage of the BOGO deal and ordered two identical burritos online. My order is extremely simple and has been the same for YEARS: steak, black beans, half white/half brown rice, cheese, corn, and extra sour cream. Somehow, nearly every time I order from this location, they're either missing something or something is wrong with the food!
Today was by far the worst. They HEAVILY seasoned the steak - and when I say heavily, I mean it tasted like it had been absolutely drenched in salt. Mine as well grab a handful of salt and eat it that way. I took one bite, immediately spit it out, and ended up throwing BOTH burritos in the trash because they were genuinely inedible. On top of that, neither burrito had the cheese or EXTRA sour cream I ordered.
I don't know if the workers are overwhelmed or frustrated because of the BOGO promotion and having to make twice as many orders, but customers shouldn't be receiving terrible food because of it. I paid for food that I literally could not eat, threw both burritos away, and the resolution I received was a free drink for throwing my entire meal away.
There has consistently been an issue almost every time I've ordered from this location, but today solidified why I won't be coming back to this chain. If you're going to run a promotion that brings in more orders, you still need to be able to serve food that's actually edible and made correctly. This location is garbage.

Went at about 9:45 pm when they close at 12 midnight. We chose this place because my family and I are not eating meats at the moment. We asked for veggies bowls, and they did not have peppers and onions or corn salsa on the bar. I just saw them put some in a bowl. They took it to the takeout area, and said takeout has priority not the people in store. I asked for a sup, who reluctantly agreed to make more corn, but it would take a while. I told him we would wait. When he was done. He just took it to the line and did not address us waiting at the table, even he knew we were waiting for the corn. I felt he could have handled this better. I explained to him, we came specifically for the veggies since we could not eat the meat. Had I known ahead of time that they were out, I wouldn't have spent close to $40 to be unhappy with my meal
Dear Chipotle Customer Service Team,
I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my experience at your Chipotle Lakeland north location. Today during the lunch hour.
I arrived expecting to have lunch, but neither the chicken nor the black beans were ready to serve. In fact, the staff was just beginning to cook the chicken. It is highly frustrating to visit during peak lunch hours and find that core menu items are unavailable. Because of this, I chose to walk out without ordering. This location consistently seems to struggle with preparedness and service.
I hope you will look into the management and food preparation scheduling at this restaurant to ensure a better experience for customers in the future.
How does a restaurant not pick up phone calls???? The have AI do everything or you have to handle it online…. I just wanted to make a special request on a DoorDash order and they can’t even do that what a joke!

We were told it was a 10 minute wait on chicken if we wanted to wait she would call us back up that didn’t happen we started seeing people get chicken so we got back in line to order when we get to the next person before the cashier she was rude with a nasty attitude did not make eye contact just kind of kept saying what we had to the cashier and asked well do you want chips rudely I did want some but I said hell no her attitude was so poor I understand you are tired but part of your job is communicating effectively some customers walked out before us cause of her attitude I should’ve done the same
