  Yak and Yeti is the air conditioned oasis in your Animal Kingdom day. The food is always consistently good (we always start with Firecracker shrimp) and there are enough options for everyone in your family without having an excessively large menu (some other Landry’s locations do). This time around we had Amber as our server and she was fantastic - friendly, quick, and stayed on top of our sodas / waters (critical in the Florida heat). She seriously had the next one ready before we had even finished the last one. Little things like that go a long way. And, again, super friendly and great with the kids too!

  I know it's totally cliché, but seriously, when you walk into this place you're transported to a pan-Asian place with a heavy Thai influence. The place seems packed, but there is plenty of space to move around the two-story restaurant. You can look around and see a variety of artifacts from different cultures. We have been several times now, and though the menu has changed over the years, many classics stayed and new ones were added. All the food we've tried has been amazing. I can't think of one dish I wouldn't recommend. And the service is immaculate. Our server, Amber, was friendly and fun and we had a few good laughs. I'd definitely ask to be in her section if I were you. So food, atmosphere and service are all outstanding at the Yak & Yeti. Now get going!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful experience at Yak & Yeti, and a huge part of that was our fantastic server, Savannah! She was incredibly personable, kind, and attentive from the moment we sat down. She genuinely made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our entire meal. Savannah consistently followed up with us, made sure everything was exactly what we needed, and did it all with such a warm and friendly personality. It’s clear that she truly cares about her guests and takes pride in providing great service. Savannah was absolutely wonderful and deserves to be recognized for making our visit so enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back & we hope we get lucky enough to have Savannah as our server again!

  The restaurant sat me upstairs, and I was lucky enough to get Nick as my server. I really liked the food, but I wish I would have listened to him when he recommended a few things from the menu. He said next time I should try the kimchi calamari and chicken tikka masala. Both sounded delicious, but my heart was set on the Korean fried chicken, which is very filling for one person. I also got the fried green beans as an appetizer. Those I probably wouldn’t order again. They weren’t bad, but I’ve definitely had better. Anyway, I still wiped both plates clean, and then Nick talked me into trying the warm butter cake with buttered pecan ice cream and caramel sauce. I was already stuffed, but he told me it was a must-try. He wasn’t misleading me. It was incredible! He even recommended a dark, cool place for me to take a nap after stuffing my belly! If you want an excellent, attentive server at Yak & Yeti, ask for Nick. He’ll make your experience wonderful!

  Dear Yak & Yeti Management Team, We recently returned from a memorable family vacation to Disney World, and I wanted to share how special our dinner at Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom was. We keep coming back because the food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is always outstanding. Our server, Justin, was friendly, funny, and offered great recommendations for new food and drinks to try. When I bought a souvenir duck during dinner and mentioned that I wanted to purchase the other ducks displayed at the entrance, he kindly walked me to your nearby store and introduced me to Skylar. While I was purchasing the additional rubber duckies, Skylar and I had a wonderful conversation. Out of the blue, she told me to “never change who I am” and to “always be myself.” She spoke to me with immense compassion and warmth that her words made a lasting impact and still warm my heart. Later during our fantastic dinner, I decided I wanted to purchase one of the displays shot glasses that read, "ALWAYS BE YOURSELF, UNLESS YOU CAN BE A TIGER. THEN ALWAYS BE A TIGER". When Justin checked, he found they were out of stock. Seeing my disappointment, he spoke with Skylar and for some reason Skylar knew that the shot glass was for me. She generously offered to let me purchase the one from the display. I was incredibly touched by this gesture. Our experience at Yak & Yeti was memorable not only because of the incredible food and drinks, but also because of your wonderful team. Thank you for making our visit so wonderful again & again!! Thank you Skylar!! Thank you Justin!! Thank you Sara!! PS. Anyone who visits Animal Kingdom must go to Yak & Yeti Restaurant 😊
