What a great choice. We made a reservation for 6pm as a two on a Wednesday. We arrived early and went to the bar area and found an open high top. Then we met Tracie who was extremely friendly and took great care at libating us. Our table was called but we declined to see if we could wait to sit along a window. The hostess was receptive and the extra hour we waited allowed us to dine and catch the 9pm fireworks show from the terrace. The French/Italian inspired menu promises to satisfy any palate. Jaimie our server was friendly and attentive to our every need. We started with seasonal salad and gnocchi with duck confit. Onto filet mignon, mashed with broccolini and pork belly with handkerchief pasta (actually a side) Everything was delicious and plentiful. We received an Anniversary dessert of small donut holes along with chocolate lava cake and cannolli cheesecake (OMG- all outstanding). The fireworks were and beautiful finish to the night. Enjoy!

It’s a beautiful restaurant and our waitress Jaimie was top notch. The appetizers were also very good, especially the mushroom bisque. However our entree was very disappointing. We all ordered the Chicken Sugo Rigatoni based on all of the wonderful reviews, but found it to be no better than Olive Garden on an off night. It lacked flavor and the texture seemed off; all we really noticed was how salty it was. One of the entree bowls wasn’t even filled. One in our party also noticed that the manager visited every other table but skipped ours which could have just been an oversight 🤷🏻‍♀️but still 😑. We live in the area so we go to Disney restaurants quite often. Unfortunately this was a once and done. The cost is way too high to walk away disappointed.

The character breakfast is the format most worth booking, a prix fixe meal where the characters visit each table in costume while the kitchen produces a rotating spread of properly made French and Italian breakfast items. The frittata with truffle oil and seasonal vegetables is the egg dish most consistently praised, light and well-seasoned in a way that surprises guests who came expecting theme park food. The crêpes with seasonal fruit and vanilla custard are the sweet option most tables share, properly thin and delicate with a filling that earns the Riviera reference. At dinner the roasted chicken with herbed jus is the main most worth ordering, properly cooked with a crust that reflects a kitchen paying attention to the temperature of the oven. The trofie pasta with basil pistou is the vegetarian main that earns its own conversation, the pasta housemade and the sauce bright and properly herbaceous.

Mike D was the server for my birthday brunch & he definitely went above & behind to make sure I enjoyed every little thing. He helped make sure I got the perfect dish due to my dietary restrictions & he kept the pog juice flowing. The characters did not disappoint at all, they stayed in heavy rotation, even their break wasn’t long enough that you missed them being on the floor. At most characters dining restaurants, I don’t have the highest expectations for the food, as we’re usually there mostly for the experience. That’s not the case here. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC. They start you off with their “bread service” upon seating, which is an assortment of fresh, warm croissants. The chocolate chip croissant was my favorite. I had the avocado & smoked salmon toast. My partner got the wood-fired steak & eggs. For my salmon & eggs, instead of boiled eggs, Mike got the poached with hollandaise. The ciabatta was perfectly toasted, it wasn’t too hard or too soft & I was able to cut it, not saw it, with no problem with my butter knife. The greens and capers added a very finishing touch on the toast. My partner raved about the steak & eggs saying they were cooked perfectly. Overall, our experience was great, & I would love to return to try dinner one day.

My girlfriend and I began our first-ever adult-only Disney trip with dinner at Topolino’s. We’d had these reservations for weeks. I wasn’t as familiar with it as she was, but apparently she’s been dying to go here and enjoy the fireworks from the balcony for years. Our reservation was a little later, so we went to the bar first for a couple of pre-dinner cocktails. It was there I met my new best friend, Mikey, whose bartending skills were only outmatched by his company. In fact, the company was so good that we canceled our dinner reservation and decided to eat right there at the bar. Between Mikey’s talents and conversation and the delicious food, it set the tone for the perfect week at Disney. Thank you, Mikey, and thank you, Topolino’s, for bringing the true magic. We will be back.
