We ended our magical Disney trip with dinner at Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort, and it was the perfect finale!
Located on the 10th floor, the restaurant offers beautiful views, exceptional service, and some of the best food we’ve had at Disney. Sometimes you’re paying more for the experience than the meal, but that definitely wasn’t the case here. Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations.
The standout items were the filet, Brussels sprouts, crab cakes, and the French Rosé—each one was outstanding and absolutely worth ordering.
A special thank you to our server, Jacob, who truly elevated the entire evening. He was personable, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Jacob did exactly that.
If you’re looking for a Disney dining experience where both the food and service live up to the hype, Topolino’s Terrace is absolutely worth the reservation. We can’t wait to return!

We had a reservation for four at Topolino's Terrace to celebrate our daughter's birthday, an obviously special night we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what we expected from a signature Disney dining location, especially one that's notoriously difficult to book.
We arrived on time for our reservation but were seated 40 minutes late. Our kids were getting hungry and tired, which made the wait particularly tough. The host mentioned that a manager would come speak with us once seated. When the manager finally appeared, he simply asked, “How we doin’?” We replied that we were doing okay, and he said “Good, good” and walked away. There was no apology for the significant delay, no acknowledgment of the special occasion, and no attempt to make things right.
Once seated, our server made us feel rushed and pressured throughout the meal. We waited another 30 minutes just for bread to arrive at the table. The food itself was okay- nothing memorable, especially for the price and the hype.
By the time we finished, we had missed the Skyliner back to our resort and ended up walking with two angry kids. Luckily the rain had let up by then. For a place this hard to get into at Disney, we expected much stronger execution on both the food and the service.
We are DVC members who love the Riviera Resort and were considering it as a potential new home resort, and it's really upsetting how our visit to Topolino's left us feeling so distinctly unwelcomed. A simple apology for the wait and some recognition of our daughter's birthday would have gone a long way. Instead, we left disappointed.
Honestly, quick service delivered to our room with a birthday cookie would have been a far better way to celebrate. Topolino's really didn't live up to the magic here.
This is the best character breakfast on Disney property. The food is delicious and my family loved that it starts with a basket of pastries. The views from the restaurant are amazing. You're able to see the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios and Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom from almost anywhere in the restaurant. Also they have great character interactions where each one comes around multiple times. We didn't feel rushed and my kids had genuine interactions with each of them. In addition, the service was amazing. Special shout out to Ashley who was really amazing with my family. We were able to snag last minute reservations for July 4th and was able to watch the military flyover Epcot from the outdoor terrace. Even Mickey was out there watching the flyover with us. That was extra special. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend reservations.
The character experience for the children was great, but that was the only upside. The wait for everything here was the biggest issue. We waited 15 minutes just for water and orange juice and then afterwards did not receive a refill until we had paid and were packing up to leave. Then, our server Gabriel rushed my wife and she ordered for our daughter and spoke over us as we tried to decide what we wanted. He walked up to the table and immediately insinuated that we wanted the steak and eggs asking how we’d like it when we had never even said a word. The same thing happened with my daughter’s order and he kept speaking over my wife and rushing her as she tried to order. This is by far not worth $150 and was a terrible customer service experience. The food was overly salted as well and the portion of steak and two eggs is beyond insufficient for the price in comparison to a breakfast at a luxury hotel not on Disney property. If you want to meet characters then I would skip this completely and go to Cape May.

Fantastic character breakfast and easily one of the best meals we've had on Disney property! We ordered the Steak & Eggs, Quiche Gruyère, and Eggs Benedict Florentine after seeing them recommended in other reviews, and honestly, every dish was a hit. The Eggs Benedict Florentine was probably the star of the table, but the quiche was a close second. We had recently tried the quiche at Cake Bake Shop and found it pretty underwhelming, so this one completely exceeded our expectations. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, and even the potatoes and side salad were surprisingly good. The drinks were fantastic as well, especially the espresso martini-style cocktail with Baileys and Frangelico. What made the experience even more special was celebrating my mom's birthday. The characters truly went out of their way to make her feel celebrated. We noticed the interactions felt much more personal and relaxed than other character meals we've done recently. One of our favorite moments was watching Daisy Duck get down on the floor and play toy trucks with a little boy. Throughout the meal, we saw the characters taking their time with guests and creating really meaningful interactions. The combination of great food, excellent drinks, and such thoughtful character experiences made for a truly memorable morning. We would absolutely come back!
