Love this place. Flordia version of the famous Hollywood restaurant of the same name. Filet, duck pasta are perfection. Cobb salad is fantastic and famous. Delicious food, great service. Save room for desert. Seasonal pumpkin cheesecake is out of this world. Presentation is on the next level.

We have quite the list of allergies including gluten, dairy, and sesame. Younes, our server, was amazing and took great care of us. The chef, Luis, came out and not only accommodated all of our allergies but went above and beyond to create us meals that tasted amazing. We haven’t had service and food that good in so long. 10000/10 experience.

We had an excellent dining experience at the Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios! The food was outstanding, with perfectly sized portions and beautifully prepared dishes. The menu offered elegant, sophisticated selections with something to suit every taste. The combination of delicious food, generous portions, and an upscale atmosphere made this a memorable meal. Our second time here!

We hadn’t come here in over ten years, but gave it another try. The food has dramatically improved (like most of Disney over the last ten years). We had the duck pasta and the halibut. Escargot and octopus to start. All were excellent. We ended it with two different dessert wine flights also perfectly curated. Our server Younes was fantastic! Try it again if it’s been a while.

First thing to know: if you have a reservation, don’t expect to be seated right on time. My reservation was delayed about 20 minutes, so keep that in mind when planning your evening. Once you’re seated, though, the restaurant itself is a really enjoyable experience. The interior has that classic old Hollywood feel that the Brown Derby is going for. It’s not quite as impressive or elegant as Carthay Circle at Disneyland, but it definitely captures a similar Golden Age of Hollywood atmosphere. The food was excellent. The octopus appetizer was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of the meal. I had the halibut, which was very good, but the real star of the dish was the pea risotto — easily the most memorable part of the entrée. Unfortunately, the only thing that hurt the experience had nothing to do with the restaurant. The table next to me seemed determined to turn a classy Hollywood dining experience into a reality show. They were extremely loud, had trouble communicating with their server, sent back perfectly cooked steaks, and somehow managed to make basic dining etiquette look like an advanced skill. At one point, watching them hold their forks, I wondered if I was sitting next to dinner guests or people auditioning for a low-budget murder mystery. I tried to ignore it, but they were so disruptive that it became impossible. It’s unfortunate because the Brown Derby itself delivers what it promises: great food, a beautiful atmosphere, and a taste of old Hollywood. Despite the absolute chaos happening at the table next to me, I’m still giving this restaurant five stars. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience were excellent. The Brown Derby can’t control who sits nearby — unfortunately, sometimes the hardest thing to remove from a dining experience isn’t a bad dish, it’s a bad neighbor.
