  The overall experience was good. The room is lovely as is the set up, The food was between ok and good. The best thing was the tea which was excellent. The scone was orange cranberry which may not appeal to everyone, it was tasty but crumbly. Mine fell apart when I tried to pick it up. The savories were ok. Chicken curry was good, salmon was good but I imagine there are may be non salmon fans . Egg salad had too much bun, and the cucumber was ok. Sweets were good but I did not like the matcha hat thing. For $95 plus tax and tip, I don’t think it’s worth it. Maybe once for the experience but I doubt we will return. Honestly, for the money, the tea at the Bake Shop on the Boardwalk was better and it’s the same price. I’ve waited years for the GF tea to return and I was disappointed. Pre-Covid was way way better.

  More “Instagram” worthy than enjoyable. Glad I did it? Yes Would I do it again? No Would I recommend it? No Price after tax and gratuity: about $100 per person collected at time of booking. I would suggest you take that $100 and go to California Grill, Jiko, Dinner with Snow White or any other high end restaurant. The Good: Lovely setting, good service, theming is great. The Bad: Think the worst buffet items at Disney, make them cute and add tea. Everything is sweet. Here are the taste profiles: Curry chicken salad: curry and sugar. Salmon salad: salmon, white pepper or cayenne pepper, mayonnaise, crunchy rice and some sweetener. Egg salad: 2 teaspoons of unseasoned egg salad, no salt, no pepper, unflavored bacon on a dry beet sweet roll. 4 times more roll than egg salad. You don’t taste anything except the roll unless you deconstruct it. Cucumber sandwich, cucumber and cream cheese, slightly sweet, very earthy and slightly barn yard, I thought it was a mild goat cheese. Bread gets lost. The 4 desserts, all sweet, all taste like low end buffet desserts. Cute but not worth the calories even if you are not on a diet. Most of the teas are sweet so it is sweet on top of sweet. If you want to try the chocolate hazelnut tea or the red velvet type tea, save that as a second option after you finish eating. The lavender and berry was one of the better choices. The chai overpowers the bland food. The lady gray is a decent choice. Unless this is a bucket list item and you won’t miss the money spent, skip it.

  We took a long train ride to Disney specifically for the high tea at the Floridian Hotel! I have been to many High Teas all over the world! This tea experience was by far the worst! Staff delightful! Scones quite good! Tea = Twinnings = mid range supermarket tea! But the tray of treats and sandwiches were horridly colored! Who makes gooey rice treats with salmon on top ? Maroon colored bread with egg salad ? Cucumber sandwiches with purple cream cheese? Curry cakes? Matcha cakes? Not even real whipped cream? The British find this vile! This is nit a traditional High Teas at all! 80$ I have paid that price in London and everything was perfection ! Time for Disney to step up and create the proper High Tea! I would never go again! So very disappointed! You made it sound so delicious! Sad to say I was not Mad for this Hatters tea party!

  I never write reviews but this truly warranted one. “Eww” sums it up for us. The 2 stars are for our server Elle who was lovely and the visual aspect of the food which was fun to look at. We enjoyed none of it, not even the desserts which I feel like for Disney is a very hard thing to screw up. Now to be fair, I understand the offerings are very traditional and probably delight some guests but we just couldn’t stomach them. Substitutions/swaps for other items would go a long way especially for the price of the experience. I filled up on the cheese plate we added on, scone, and tea which were all nice. Sadly, definitely wouldn’t do this again without adjustments to the menu.

  Food was mid. So was the service. Scones crumbled so badly you couldn’t put any butter on them. We ordered the cheese plate which tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a week. I guess I was expecting more of a tapas style cheese plate. The rice base for the salmon tart was inedible it was so hard and dense. Terribly made. So. Much. Food coloring. Server cleared a table of six, including wiping down the table, then turned right back around to serve us our food. He needed to wash his hands after that. It was honestly rather disgusting. I’ve seen better hand washing procedures from a sandwich artist at Subway. I won’t be coming back any time soon.
