I can’t rate the food because i did not order it. The vibe of the place was cool but it just was not it? Loud and premade drinks arent cute. Couldn’t order off the menu like you can at Geo82. The cast members were very nice without a doubt. They were strict on the time limit they informed us like three times. felt rushed and had to stand at this bar. It was nice to escape the heat but not for a good break. Also very hard to find and no signage we had to ask for help because we couldn’t locate it. it really is a one and done type situation unless some of your party has never been. Cool for the vibes but that’s about it. there was also children there when in geo82 no children are allowed. they need to take notes from geo82.

For our recent Disney trip we reserved spots at the Beak and Barrel, the newest Pirates of the Caribbean-themed bar on property! I highly recommend getting reservations months in advance as they are quite booked up right now. We were seated at a large table with booth seating and a few chairs to accommodate our large group. There is a 45-minute time limit so best to order your drinks and food at once! Our waitress, Stephanie, was so fun and absolutely fantastic in accommodating all of our orders and splitting the bills at the end. We got three orders of the Island Provisions (various chips and homemade dips) for our table, and I got the South Seas Splash. It was super refreshing and came in a lovely mug! There is a two drink per-person limit, and the rest of my group made sure to meet it! The bar has a talking pirate parrot, storms, siren calls, ships battling in bottles and more that occur at random during your seating. Each event was very immersive and super cool! I’d definitely return here for more pirate fun!

This bar is a bit of a head scratcher for me. I’ve been to Oga’s Cantina and Trader Sam’s multiple times so I thought I knew what to expect. Unfortunately, it fell way below expectations. The greeters and servers are constantly reminding you of the 45 minute window, it starts as soon as you are seated. The servers all seemed stressed, our server did well but you could tell he was over the day already and it was only 10:30AM. The drinks tasted like premixed cocktails with a splash of alcohol as a floater, after the first sip the alcohol disappeared. We ordered the arepas and they were a pleasant and welcome surprise. If I had the opportunity to go back, I would skip it and get a drink at a resort or go to another park for better drinks and service. This is unfortunately a one and done experience for us.

Our experience at The Beak and Barrel was extremely disappointing. After how difficult it was to secure a reservation, we expected the experience to feel special. Instead, our party was squeezed into a table with two guests we did not know, which was uncomfortable and not what we expected when spending this much money. Even more concerning, our server, Holli, did not seem attentive or concerned when we explained that someone in our party had food allergies. At a Disney restaurant, we expected allergy concerns to be handled carefully and professionally. The drinks were extremely overpriced, and the 45-minute time limit made the entire experience feel rushed rather than enjoyable. For a party of six, we spent more than $400 and left feeling like it was a complete waste of money. Between the difficulty of getting a reservation, the shared seating, the lack of attention to food allergies, the high prices, and the rushed atmosphere, we would not recommend The Beak and Barrel.

On our recent trip to Disney we were lucky enough to score reservations at this incredible bar. The theme is incredible. Magic around every corner. We stood at the bar. Seating is very limited so each party is given 45 minutes and to beverages per person. Look at the menu before you go and 45mins is plenty of time. Our servers Princess Dylan and Pirate goddess Mel were incredible. They sang, interacted with the other cast, and were exactly what we hoped to find thay day. The two of them are magic. Great with me a Disney Dad. Great with my 2 kids. Such great humans, I dare you to try not to fall in love with one of them or both. The food is Amazing!!! Get the chicken and cornbread dish. Youll crave it. Neat cocktails and good beer. Id suggest a smaller party. So you can get in easier. Maybe wait for the younger kids to reach 10 or so as there are pirate ghosts and such. My new favorite wdw spot.
