First time here, the theming is great. Quick little lighting effects/shows similar to Oga’s and Trader Sam’s. Rummy is entertaining and pops out every now and then. If you’re not sitting near the bar you miss all this unfortunately. The drinks are very overpriced ($19-$22) for how small they are but they were decent at least. Connor was our server and was outstanding. The Walt Disney World resort needs more Connor’s. You get sat with strangers which can be awkward/weird. This place should be 21+ as there were many children/toddlers/babies near us which is just bizarre for a bar and shouldn’t be a thing. We did not get any food but the people next to us did and it looked like they barely ate half of it so take that for what it’s worth. It was overall a good experience until the very end when at about 44 minutes in we had a very rude cast member (not Connor) came up to us with his little pocket watch and tell us our time was expiring and we had too much to drink left so we better finish our drinks quickly. We received our last drinks 12 minutes before our time “expired”. So be prepared to be harassed by a cast member and told to chug your drink and get out if you aren’t completely finished within 45 minutes. I’m not exaggerating he literally came over and said we had too much to drink left so we better start drinking faster. Word for word what he said and not in a funny pirate way but a rude and condescending way. Maybe the cast members should come around earlier and ask if you want a second drink then if you’re gonna pressure people to finish their drinks quickly and leave in a very rude way or extend your time to an hour instead of 45 minutes. There were 4 empty seats right next to us as well as other empty spots we passed by on the way out. I was going to buy the red Beak and Barrel t-shirt when we left as the experience was pretty good until the end but no way was I going to after that last cast member ended our time there like that. In some ways this is the perfect encapsulation of a modern day Disney World experience-overpriced, great theming, some great service mixed with some rude and completely unnecessarily demeaning service. Very unlikely to return here.

Great concept but, while on an adult vacation with our 34 year old daughter and her fiancé following being on our feet all day, we were merely looking for a small, tiny oasis time out from the kids and chaos. Enter Beak & Barrel…a bar, right?! WRONG!! The older gentleman faking a pirate accent insulted her fiancé as we entered then he placed us at a standing area by the entrance without any stools while we had the pleasure of looking on at kids EVERYWHERE, taking up space at the bar and comfortably seated at tables watching their phones and iPads. We had a reservation thinking we would AT LEAST be provided a seat and would have never gone had we known!! Our feet were swollen and throbbing! We were SO looking forward to visiting the Beak & Barrel while actually sitting as a break to feel refreshed. Also!! Beware!! We were rushed through our experience because the fake “pirate” cost us time against our 45 minute cap due to his bantering inappropriately with our son in law thus limiting our time to at all make this bad situation at all better, all the while we were watching kids seated IN A BAR ATMOSPHERE that should be suited for ADULTS!! $200 later we were left terribly disappointed and will NEVER return!

Worst experience ever at this place. DO NOT GO!!! We had a reservation for 3 people at 5:00 PM, and they took over 30 minutes to give us the table we had already reserved. When they finally let us in, it was a shared table with seven other strangers — and there were no chairs. When I asked the host for just one chair and explained that I am pregnant, he told me that chairs are not guaranteed and that if I wanted a chair, I needed to go back outside, get in line, and wait for a table with chairs to become available. I then asked the server and explained the situation. She said she couldn’t find a single chair in the entire restaurant. I asked to speak with the manager, and a woman approached us and said she couldn’t move us because “we already ordered.” I replied that I wasn’t even asking to be moved — I just needed a chair to sit and eat because I’m pregnant, and they gave us the only table in the restaurant without chairs. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

This place feels like Captain Jack Sparrow finally got into the restaurant business and hired a team that actually shows up on time. The atmosphere is loud in the best way, immersive, and just chaotic enough to make you question if your waiter might challenge you to a duel over the last appetizer. Every corner has something going on, so even if your food took a minute, you wouldn’t notice because you’re too busy looking around like a kid who just discovered caffeine. The food? Way better than it has any right to be for a place that looks like a pirate ship crashed into a bar. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and portion sizes that say, “we don’t believe in leaving hungry.” Drinks are strong enough to make you consider buying a tricorn hat on the way out, which honestly feels like part of the business model. Service was dialed in. Friendly, quick, and somehow managing the madness like seasoned pros. You can tell they’ve seen it all and still keep it fun without making you feel rushed. Yes, it’s Disney. Yes, it’s packed with tourists. But this is one of the rare spots where you don’t feel like you got herded into a themed cafeteria. It’s loud, it’s ridiculous, and it actually delivers, which is more than you can say for a lot of places that cost this much.

We went in thinking this was an adults-only bar, but that wasn’t the case. Even with reservations, they do group seating, so you may find yourself trying to enjoy a cocktail with your partner while seated alongside a family with young kids, which felt awkward and not the atmosphere we expected. The ambiance was very unique and fun, there were a couple of interactive experiences during our 45 minut stay which truly made the trip worthwhile. The menu is very limited, with only a handful of items and no photos. We ordered the octopus, which turned out to be more like a ceviche served in a cocktail glass without anything to accompany it (chips?). It was absolutely delicious, but not really shareable or what you’d expect from something positioned as tapas. The griddle cake was also tasty, but similarly difficult to share. Service was friendly but we were never served waters, and dishes and glasses piled up on our table without being cleared the entire time we were there. We were also interested in the souvenir cup, but they won’t let you swap the featured drink or purchase the mug separately, which felt unnecessarily rigid so we were stuck ordering a drink we didn't like. The mezcal drink was the standout. That said, unless there are changes to seating, a clearer adult focused atmosphere, and improvements to how dishes are served, we likely wouldn’t return.
