There are different stations depending on what you’re ordering which can add logistical complications if you have to queue up multiple times and then queue up to pay. It felt understaffed - we visited frequently during a 2 week stay and there were always issues with the amenities such as Coke machines out of order, cutlery or condiments empty etc…

- ADAnthony DeCosaJul 19, 20265.0One of - there are A LOT of them - the best things about staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is the fact that your DRINK dollars will go further here. I will explain. If you are staying here for longer than... oh, I'd say two days... you owe it to yourself to get a refillable Disney cup! French Quarter has one of the widest arrays of beverages available in all the Disney resorts: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, iced tea... AND... (drum roll, please) French Quarter is one of the less-than-a-handful of Disney Resorts (and I believe the only moderately-priced one) that features Coca-Cola FREESTYLE Machines! So you have a wide expanse of soft beverages to select from (till 11 pm). Again, if you're going to be staying for a few days and spending ANY of your time at the resort, it's worth buying a cup to refill at your desire. It REALLY brings the cost down! The food, as I recall, was very good too. A nice selection of burgers, pizza, and Creole specialties. Quite tasty. And the breakfasts were good as well. But what you really want here are the BEIGNETS!!! My wife and I make special trips to "Sassagoula" even when we're NOT staying at FQ (we can't afford it *every* time...☹️), because the beignets - smothered in confectioners sugar - and coffee are not to be missed. (BTW, if you don't fancy chicory, regular coffee is available.) The atmosphere of French Quarter is SOOOO relaxing! More than any other Disney resort, FQ tempts us to really take our time launching out into our day in the morning. The wrought iron, pastel colored walls, greenery and atmospheric music (lots of vintage Louis Armstrong and other old classic New Orleans jazz) just slows down your body clock to IT'S speed. It's wonderful. I'd live there if I could. 😊
