Katsura Grill is a solid option for a quick bite at EPCOT. The food is good, and the katsu was the highlight for me (was way better). The portions are filling and satisfying, making it an easy choice for a casual meal while exploring the Japan Pavilion. It’s also a nice spot to sit down, relax and take a short break from the park crowds.

If you’ve ever wondered what real Japanese teriyaki tastes like — not the overly sweet American version drowning in sauce — then grab your imaginary passport and strut over to Japan Pavilion at Epcot and make your grand entrance at Katsura Grill. The chicken and beef teriyaki are surprisingly close to what you’d find from a Tokyo street vendor: simple, savory, and balanced without that sugar overload. The pork ramen comes in with a refreshing broth that says, “I’m elegant, I don’t need to shout for attention.” Now, let’s talk about the price, darling. It’s definitely on the higher side, but remember — this is Disney. You’re not just paying for food, you’re paying for the privilege of getting a taste of Japan without leaving the USA. The setup is self-service, so don’t expect a royal welcome with a kimono-clad host waiting to fan you. Grab your tray, find your table, and enjoy your little Japanese escape. Overall: good flavors, authentic vibes, and a nice little Tokyo moment without crossing the Pacific. The portions are not exactly generous, but hey, it’s Disney — even the teriyaki needs a little pixie dust on the price tag. 🍱✨

It's pretty expensive but the chicken teriyaki was fantastic. Service was quick and staff were friendly.

I was really looking forward to trying the tonkotsu ramen at Katsura Grill in EPCOT, but unfortunately, the meal fell short of expectations. The noodles had a texture and quality similar to instant store-bought ramen rather than fresh, authentic noodles. The portion size was lacking, served with just a thin slice of pork and a small side of ginger. It was very disappointing dining experience for the price. I hope management considers upgrading the ingredient quality to better match the rest of the pavilion's offerings.
