  Choza de margarita serves up my favourite drinks in Epcot, we had multiple margaritas during our time here and loved them. You get a spectacular view of the lake while drinking. It’s located at Epcot on lake buena vista.

  Valerie or Valeria is, without a doubt, one of the most disrespectful service employees I have ever encountered. As a Mexican myself, I was especially disappointed and saddened by the way I was treated at the Mexico Pavilion. Her behavior was not reflective of the warmth, kindness, and humility that I associate with Mexican culture and the way we welcome others. Here is what happened: Last week, during our annual trip to EPCOT, I walked up to Choza de Margarita while on the phone with my husband, who was taking care of our two toddlers while I went to get food for our family. I was reading the menu to him when Valerie repeatedly asked, “What can I get you?” three times, despite the fact that I was clearly still looking at the menu and speaking with my husband. This interaction took no more than about one minute. Eventually, she told me that she was not going to help me. I immediately got off the phone, stood in front of the register, and began placing my order. She then told me, again, that she was still not going to help me with an arrogant smirk on her face. She proceeded to tell the people behind me that she would help them, even though I was still standing directly in front of the cash register trying to place my order. At that point, I was completely caught off guard and embarrassed. The people standing beside me eventually left, and I asked another Cast Member if he could assist me. Unfortunately, he completely ignored me and instead began talking to his coworkers. His behavior came across as equally dismissive and disrespectful. I unfortunately did not get his name because, at that point, I was in shock and on the verge of tears. I was so upset and uncomfortable that I ultimately walked away and never returned to order my food. I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated by these two employees. What made the experience even more upsetting to me personally was seeing this kind of behavior at the Mexico Pavilion, a place that represents Mexican culture to visitors from Florida and travelers from around the world. As a Mexican, I take pride in the warmth, kindness, and hospitality of my culture, and I was deeply saddened to experience the opposite. I hope this experience is taken seriously and addressed appropriately. No guest should be made to feel humiliated, dismissed, or intentionally excluded from receiving service.

  Choza de Margarita was one of my favorite stops while doing EPCOT’s Drink Around the World challenge! The margaritas were refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for a hot Florida day. The service was fast, even with a busy crowd, and the atmosphere really captured the fun, vibrant feel of the Mexico Pavilion. If you’re spending the day at EPCOT, this is definitely a stop worth making.
