    Food tastes more like cooking oil than anything else. Most of it was lukewarm or cold. The coffee was also extremely watered down. I’ve been to other Disney restaurants with the same options and it wasn’t this bad. Only reason it’s not 1 star is because the kids can still see the characters who do a good job.

    I wish I read the reviews before booking this experience. The food is buffet style. I felt like I was at breakfast on a cruise at peak morning. The character experience is very rushed. It smelled a little like trash and tables around here not pick up and there was food on the floor everywhere. When we sat down there was food on the floor from the previous party. I had a better and free experience at a random restaurant at animal kingdom lodge. We were celebrating a birthday. They don’t sing to you. You probably have to buy a $40 cake, but who knows. I won’t be doing this again. Not worth it.

    The food was good with a good deal of choices. The servers were pleasant but aside for drinks it was all buffet serve yourselves and sometimes the line was long. The atmosphere was slightly cramped but children getting to see and pose with all the characters individually is what made it worth the $70 a person.

    Chef Mickey’s was one of the highlights of our Disney trip! My husband and I were celebrating our second wedding anniversary, and this was our 6-month-old son Luca’s very first character dining experience. Unfortunately, he was sound asleep when Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald first came around, and we thought he had missed his chance to meet them. Our server, Terry, and character attendants, Jenn and Toni, went completely above and beyond. Without us even asking, they worked together to make sure every character came back once Luca woke up. They also helped us capture the moment by assisting with family photos, getting Luca’s attention, and making him laugh and smile for the camera. Watching our little boy light up as he giggled and smiled while meeting the characters for the first time was absolutely priceless. As first-time parents, these are memories we’ll cherish forever. What stood out most wasn’t just the exceptional service, it was how genuinely they cared. Terry, Jenn, and Toni made us feel like creating these memories for our family was just as important to them as it was to us. Years from now, we may not remember exactly what we ate, but we’ll always remember the incredible Cast Members who made sure our son experienced the magic of Disney for the very first time. Thank you, Terry, Jenn, and Toni, for making our anniversary celebration as a family of three so incredibly special. We can’t wait to come back!

    Food was average. Definitely not comparable or worth the money. The only thing you are paying for are the characters to come out to say hi. The server was rude and cleared my phone into the dishwasher. Criminal!! Our family about 10 of us were going back and forth taking food. He took the drink orders from the others first. I asked for the same drink when he was putting down their drink. After 10 mins I came back from the buffet and I still didn’t get my drink. So when he came to start clearing plates I asked him again. He claimed I gave another person at the table the drink he put down. ?? I didn’t because I don’t even know what the others ordered as I was busy trying to get food. The drink wasn’t at my seat in front of me. He started bickering with me till his co worker stepped in and offered to bring the drink over. Also they cleared my phone into their dishwasher. I went to wash and placed my child’s placemat and spoon back to the stroller and than went back to the restaurant to settle the bill with my husband and his cousin. I didn’t see my phone on the table. After I reached the monorail and realised the phone wasn’t in my bag I went back twice. They claim that they don’t have it but let me look at where we sat which had everything cleared and directed me to the lobby. I insisted they take my husband’s number in case it turned up as I was pretty sure the last time I used it it was at the table. I went to the lobby and they didn’t have it, a lady kindly let me call my husband who was already in Magic Kingdom by than. My husband told me the restaurant called and said they have it. I went back up the lady at the receiption still didn’t have a clue. But the manager said to wait a min and she went back to the kitchen area and told me the phone was found in the dishwasher area??? Suffice to say the phone was ruined started flicking and shut off by the next morning. I tried to charge it within that hour and it said the port was waterlogged. I had to scramble to get a new phone that cost a grand while on vacation. Lost 8 days of data and precious photos from our vacation. Caused MASSIVE stress and MASSIVE inconvenience having to uber to Apple as well as wait there to get whatever data I had transferred WITH my kid as well as wasting precious time on vacation. It looks like there was malignant intent. Have send an email to their corporate and waiting to hear back.
