We LOVED our experience at Cape May Cafe! We went for Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast and our expectations were exceeded. We had never done a character dining, so it was nice to see that the staff have a set route for characters visiting tables and even stopped to make sure we had seen everyone prior to leaving. Characters took their time to ensure each child at the table felt seen. For being a buffet, the food was excellent. Wonderful selection. This was a last minute booking, and we were so glad we did it, as it ended up being one of our favorite moments on the trip!

There were a couple really good things at the buffet but most of it is meh. The cold shrimp and the chocolate bon bons were both excellent, so if you want to absolutely load up on those, this is a great place. Otherwise, it's not really worth the price

The service was fantastic, our waitress was really great and mega friendly. Sadly the food doesnt live up to the service. The food is soooooo bland. The Mac and cheese was suuuper tasteless, it just tasted like goo pasta with zero cheese taste, I rather have Kraft Mac and cheese over that. The other food was just as bland and not good. The dining area is OK its kinda bland and not much fun either, but thats not really a big deal, im there for the food, but the food just wasn't good and I ended up only getting 1 plate of food plus a couple desserts. I never went back for seconds, cuz I didnt want to eat any more of it.

While enjoying the grand kids first birthday we enjoyed the buffet. Seafood and every kind of fish and meat imaginable. All the fixins to be sure. Mac and cheese top of my list. The salads 🥗 are fresh and crispy. The dessert bar is well worth the effort to save room for a treat. The clam chowder was perfectly seasoned and loaded with crab. Just believe me if Disney did it. It’s First Class. All the tea and soda you can drink. Be sure and get there at 5pm when they open cause there will surely be a line. Enjoy 😊

Had a less than ideal experience this last time at Cape May for breakfast. We sat down for our 10:25 Breakfast reservation On time, which was great considering how busy the restaurant was. We got a table that backed up to the buffet line. About halfway through breakfast, my mom gets MAPLE SYRUP dumped down the back of her and her hair from someone that was going too quickly through the line. The server heard what was going on & commented “You should buy a lotto ticket”. I think the server caught on that we did not find this amusing and said let me go get my manager. The manager comes over, Taylor, and apologizes for the situation. She offers wipes, which we already had because we had our 8 month old. Then she offers a Mickey t shirt…..she kind of said it as a joke so I’m not sure if she was serious. My mom said “it’s mostly the fact now I have to go rewash my hair as it has syrup and it sticky”. The manager then offers a shower she can use….im not sure who travels with shower supplies with them but. I just kept thinking, “What a dumb thing to say”. Like sure let me go shower in this random restaurant before I go to the parks all day. It’s just disappointing at the lack of response from the Disney team. I’m sure they don’t consider the fact that people pay almost $60 per person for breakfast, plus park tickets cost, all to not want maple syrup all over their hair all day. Sure accidents happen, but it was not the magical customer service that we have gotten from Disney in the past and we left with a sour taste in our mouths….and maple syrup in our hair. *****Also side note we were there for one hour and only saw 2 characters ******
