  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stopped by River Street Sweets while in Orlando and it was absolutely worth it. The smell alone pulls you in the door 😂. Everything looked fresh and homemade, and the staff was super patient while we tried to decide because there were so many good options. The pralines were incredible — warm, soft, buttery, and honestly some of the best sweets we’ve had on the trip. The kids loved it, and it turned into one of those random family stops that becomes a core memory. Watching the sweets being made added to the whole experience, and the shop had that classic old-school candy store feel. Perfect stop for families, tourists, or anyone with a sweet tooth. Definitely coming back next time we’re in Orlando!

  We stopped in at River Street Sweets today and I’m so glad we did! Lesley was the employee who assisted us. She was fantastic! She offered us some delicious samples of Bear Claws to try. They were scrumptious! She was friendly, yet professional. She explained how if we bought at least 1lb of certain candy, we could get some pralines for free. She didn’t have to tell me twice! I bought a few different types of candy and everything was yummy delish! I highly recommend this shop and I hope Lesley is there when I return.

  After a filling lunch, I came to the Promenade at Sunset Walk to walk it off. It was such a humid day that I needed something to cool me off. That's when I spotted River Street Sweets and decided to check it out. Upon entering, I noticed the well-organized shop featured a vast array of chocolate covered treats neatly displayed in a large case. I looked at the small selection of ice cream and gelato flavors and asked one of the employees for a single scoop of pineapple gelato. There was no seating inside. Since I didn't want to go out into the humidity, I just stood inside and enjoyed my sweet treat. The texture of the gelato was incredibly smooth and creamy, and I could taste the distinct pineapple flavor in every bite. It was thoroughly enjoyable and did an exceptional job of cooling me down. NOTE: There is a 3% surcharge on credit card purchases.

  We had such a fantastic experience at River Street Sweets today. Everything was delicious and Anthony was wonderful. He let us know that we were only one piece of candy away from getting a free half pound of pralines and then since we were purchasing pralines as well he offered to swap out the pralines for another item since we got the half pound of pralines for free. Anthony showed that he cared very much about customer satisfaction. We will be revisiting River Street Sweets soon as well as recommending it to all of our friends.
