  I always enjoy visiting a Portillo’s when possible… it’s one of those things I just can’t get in the DC area, like In-n-Out… So, when I was in Kissimmee I looked and found this one and went. It’s about a 15 min ride from the Gaylord in Kissimmee, which is a mile from Disney’s main entrance. Service here was great, friendly, and quick. The menu is what I’m familiar with, but all I wanted was a small Italian Beef with spicy giardiniera and a Chicago Dog. Since fries came with it, I wasn’t arguing, as they use those crinkle cut fries and they serve them crispy, hot, and tasty! The Italian Beef was incredible, as it usually is! I was in Chicago a few weeks ago and got an Italian Beef from Gold Coast Hot Dogs and it was just ok, I forgot how amazing Portillo’s were until getting this one – It Was Great! Very flavorful, tender, and moist meat with a flavorful au jus to dip it into. The giardiniera was fresh, crunchy, and spicy – it made for a great combination with that beef! The bun was so soft and held up to the sandwich and dipping it into the au jus perfectly! Next up was their Chicago dogs – AWESOME! Again, fresh veggies and a great bun. The Vienna beef hot dog was cooked spot-on as well! The place is nicely decorated and kept very clean. I’ll definitely return when in the area!

  I’ve been to this place in Chicago. The Italian beef sandwich is killer! Delicious beef packed on a sandwich for $10. And it’s stuffed like you can’t imagine! Soaked in gravy which you can also get on the side. It is the most delicious thing you’ll ever have. The crinkle cut fries are amazing and with some cheese sauce, they are incredible. I ordered for takeout went to the bar only waited 30 seconds and someone spotted me there. She came over and quickly handed me my order. The food is an amazing guilty pleasure. Do it!

  The food was good but I was disappointed in the "chocolate cake shake" its just a regular chocolate shake. Very basic Update: turns out they got my order wrong and I was given a regular chocolate shake instead of the chocolate cake shake. This was my first time ever at portillos so if I hadn't asked then I wouldn't have known it wasn't a chocolate cake shake. My partners order was wrong too.

  I don’t understand the 5-star ratings from everyone. But based off of my basic burger combo meal I’m incredibly disappointed. I was initially excited for a juicy chargrilled burger. But this did not hit. My entire burger was cold and incredibly greasy. My hands were so shiny after picking it up. The bottom bun was wet soggy and smushed. And tasted more like a frozen burger than a chargrilled burger. Not much flavor honestly. The fries were basic and kinda stale tasting, nothing to rave about. Even the coke was bad, super sweet and barely any fizz. Just my one meal was $20 which is insane especially for the quality. I could’ve went to McDonald’s or another sit down restaurant for that price. I’m honestly mad at myself for finishing my meal bc those calories were wasted on greasy cold garbage.
