This is the second time I order on the app. The app automatically says the food will be ready within 20 mins. However in both instances I arrive to pickup 45-60 mins after submitting the order and in both instances its the same issue. They order hasn’t been placed and you start making the food after I arrive. Its very frustrating from a customer standpoint. On top of that the staff member you have up front starts giving you attitude for no reason. I wasn’t being rude nor disrespectful. The food is amazing! But your customer service SUCKS when eating in and for take out. I recommend that you spend time in training your staff. Also don’t offer a service that doesn’t work. Stop offering the app orders if it doesn’t work nor are you will to compensate for the issue.
First time in a restaurant that you don't get acknowledge no explanation of the food or drinks even when we told her that it was the first time the waitress starts with you disappears the other one comes and tells you that she going to help because the other one was busy . they don't come around to ask if everything was ok.we notice one of the clients had to get up to ask to refill his drink then he got up again to ask for his check. Not good customer service name on the receipt was Tatiana. the table behind us was about 10 the waitress was by there table right away we heard that waitress ask if it was there first time she explained the menu to them sounded very friendly... they need customer service training..she started to talk to us when we were getting ready to leave..its sad because that reflects on there gratuity.

I’ve been to a lot of places, but what experienced at Perico Ripiao Latino Food was truly something different! 🇩🇴🔥
The live band was AMAZING, and the whole place was alive. People were getting up and dancing everywhere kids, adults, grandparents… everyone was dancing, laughing, and having a great time! 💃🕺 The band was incredibly interactive and engaging with the crowd, which made the experience even more special.
And the FOOD! 🤤 Everything was so savory and delicious. The appetizer was so good that I almost didn’t make it to my dinner!
My only regret is that I didn’t get there earlier so I could’ve enjoyed the atmosphere even longer. The energy, the people, the music, and the food made this experience unlike any other. We got to the owners and they were so welcoming and kind.
If you’re looking for great Latin food, live music, dancing, and an unforgettable time, Perico Ripiao is a MUST!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Pretty disappointing experience overall. We weren’t greeted when we walked in and waited a few minutes before being seated directly in front of the kitchen. Our server wasn’t very attentive or friendly, and when we asked about upgrading a size, her response came across as dismissive.
We ordered the La Paila Típica Criolla, and coming from New York with plenty of experience with Dominican cuisine, it was nothing special. Both sides were cold, the meat was bland and under-seasoned, and my son’s pechuga a la plancha also came with lukewarm sides. The chimichurri was mostly oil and lacked fresh flavor.
The restaurant was also extremely loud and the atmosphere wasn’t very enjoyable. Unfortunately, we left disappointed and wouldn’t return..
I have never received such poor service in my life. This was, by far, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.
On July 27th the company I work for reserved a large group dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant was notified in advance that a large party would be attending, and a special limited menu was created so that guests could select from a few options for appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts. Since the menu was simplified ahead of time, we expected the restaurant to be prepared to handle the group.
My table of seven people was one of the first groups to arrive, shortly before 7pm. We were seated at the far end of the restaurant, away from the stage. After being seated, it took a very long time for our server to take our orders. What was most disappointing was watching tables that arrived after us, especially those closer to the stage, receive their drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts while our table was still waiting.
Those tables received their entire meals before we even received our appetizers. By the time they were receiving desserts, we were barely receiving our drinks. It took over three hours before I finally received my food.
At no point did a manager come to our table to acknowledge the delay or apologize. The wait staff appeared overwhelmed and frustrated, but that frustration should not have been directed toward guests, especially when the restaurant had been informed ahead of time about the large group and had created a limited menu specifically to help accommodate everyone. Additionally, everything was included on one bill, so the staff was not managing multiple separate payments.
The delay was unacceptable. This was not a complicated menu with dozens of different dishes. Most of the entrees had the same sides, such as rice and beans, and the options were limited. It was not a busy night, the restaurant should have been able to manage a planned event with proper preparation.
The lack of communication and accountability was extremely disappointing. A simple apology or acknowledgment from management would have made a difference, but none was ever provided.
After waiting more than three hours for a meal, I honestly felt like I could have gone into the kitchen and prepared it myself faster. This was the worst restaurant service experience I have ever had.
I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I would never recommend it for an event or large group gathering.
