I just visited this location and I encourage the “Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation” to Shutdown it until this issue is resolved .
I was seating very close to the bar and facing the kitchen. After several minutes waiting for our food we got our order served to our table, halfway through our meal then I saw how one individual was using a duster to clean the top of the kitchen entrance, and I saw how balls and smaller particles of dust were falling and spreading right where one or two other people had a tray and were serving food. These individuals knew what they were doing because one was moving the hand on top of the food like someone would protect food from a fly. I unfortunately didn’t record what happened, it happened fast and I was in disbelief how someone could be that thick and nasty, but I do hope they have cameras pointing at the kitchen line. I don’t know what else could’ve gotten that dust that came down.
Next, a manager steps out of the kitchen and asked if I was ok, I told her what I saw and her words were “they are changing some pictures” like that completely made their nasty actions acceptable. She apologized, told me that I didn’t have to pay for my bill, she even offered me a gift card, I was so upset and disgusted that my answer could not be better than “I don’t want that”.
My next steps are emailing corporate and the DBPR. I’m willing to cooperate to make these individuals accountable for what I witnessed. This happened today 08/08/2026. I would say around 4:10 pm. Check the cameras!

There are moments in life when you just need to get away from everything and everyone. Monday evening, July 20, 2026, was one of those moments for me. I wasn’t celebrating anything—I simply needed some quiet “me time” to relax, clear my mind, and reset.
I had previously visited other Outback Steakhouse locations in Orlando and, unfortunately, left disappointed because the food was bland. I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I walked into the Outback Steakhouse on Marigold Avenue in Kissimmee.
From the moment I walked in, everything changed.
I was warmly greeted and seated right away in a booth, just as I requested. Within moments, my server, Zo, introduced himself and asked how I was doing. I shared that I just needed some time to myself, and instead of simply taking my order, he treated me like a person. He smiled and said that sometimes we all need that. Those simple words meant more than he probably realizes.
Zo’s personality was incredible. He had me laughing, smiling, and feeling comfortable throughout my entire visit. He recommended one of the specials and helped me with a drink recommendation after listening to what I liked. Even though I ended up choosing Hennessy, his knowledge, honesty, and genuine personality made the experience enjoyable from the very beginning.
What impressed me even more was how attentive he was. He checked on me often, kept me updated while my drink and food were being prepared, made sure I had fresh bread, and never once made me feel forgotten. Dining alone can sometimes feel awkward, but Zo made me feel welcome and appreciated.
Then my meal arrived…
I honestly don’t even have enough words to describe how amazing the food was.
The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned exactly the way a steak should be. Every bite was packed with flavor. The mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious. The entire meal tasted like it had been prepared with care and pride. It reminded me of a home-cooked meal, and I found myself enjoying every single bite.
A huge thank you to Chef Zach for preparing one of the best meals I’ve had at any Outback Steakhouse. Your talent truly shows in your food.
To make an already wonderful experience even better, Culinary Manager Cristina Rios personally came to my table to ask how everything was and whether I needed anything. In today’s world, it’s refreshing to see a manager who is visible, engaged, and genuinely cares about the guest experience. That simple act spoke volumes about her leadership.
We’re often quick to complain when things go wrong, but we don’t always take the time to recognize people when they do an exceptional job.
Today, I want to recognize three amazing people:
Zo – Thank you for your kindness, laughter, outstanding service, and for making someone who walked in needing peace leave with a smile.
Chef Zach – Thank you for preparing an unforgettable meal. Your cooking was exceptional.
Cristina Rios – Thank you for leading by example and showing genuine care for your guests.
You didn’t just serve me dinner—you turned an ordinary evening into one I’ll always remember. Your kindness, professionalism, and pride in your work made all the difference.
Outback Steakhouse is fortunate to have employees like you representing its brand.
I will absolutely be back.
Thank you all, and hats off to an amazing team!
