Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I’m a semi CDL truck driver. I stopped over pulled over just to get something different after ordering my number two a double extra large I drive about 30 minutes down a row check my order so I can start eating it and find out it was not a number two it was a number one with just a whole bunch of pickles and a splat of mustard all over my sandwich. I hate mustard. I came back this way because I had to pick up another load. I explained to the people that I had to eat the sandwich because it was a long journey. I was hungry. They told me because I don’t have a receipt, though. I lost my receipt that I had to show proof of what I order I showed them the proof of the time and purchased with their name on it, but they say is not gonna be enough. I feel like the workers and managers did not want to make a burger or decertified a customer. I am very disappointed with this place. It was just nothing over a feedback of them helping me out next time I’ll go to McDonald’s at least they give you free cookies and make up for it.
