Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I truly don’t recommend eating here anymore. It was fine for the first couple of months after it opened, but it eventually evolved to another ghetto and disgusting fast food place. My brother found two ants in his cup, in addition to the roach I spotted just casually crawling in the dining room.
It’s even more ridiculous having to watch the cool dude upfront getting yelled at for trying his job by the manager. Literally felt I walked into a war zone as soon I heard all of the hooting and hollering walking in.
My brother tried to scan points from the app, but ended up not using any of his rewards after the manager grew pissed after she tried to scan our phone multiple times (locking herself out from her register lol)— which led her into a ridiculous scolding towards my brother and the cashier who tried to help us.
After that, I simply couldn’t stand being there for another minute. I left with nothing but bad vibes and an empty stomach.
But shoutout to the dude upfront who tried to help us out last night. I just pray that dude may find himself a better job, so he doesn’t have to put up with any more BS from the place.

5 stars! I called in to ask for help with a very large breakfast order for our school and from start to finish, had the best experience. Store Manager Ivy was quick to respond and help, and the whole crew was super friendly, efficient and perfect for this event. District Manager stepped in and made sure things were moving in the right direction and I couldn't be happier. We have some happy teachers this morning! Thanks ladies!

We LOVE this Whataburger Restaurant! A very courteous, respectful young man, Toddathan took our order & delivered our food to our table. My husband knocked his drink over & Toddathan offered to refill it for him. He was so kind & the food was GR8, Hot & Fresh. And the place was so very clean...We will be back. Awesome food for an awesome price!!! God bless the employees & Manager.
