I rarely make negative reviews for a restaurant or any establishmentfor that matter, but this establishment has to do better. I took my wife and kids here to celebrate her birthday. We ordered our food from the kiosk and seated ourselves out on the patio. Slowly our food started coming out one item at a time and after the third item came out it we stopped receiving food. I went in to check on the rest of our order and was told it was in process. I returned to our table and and waited for about 20 minutes and I was approached by the manager to check of we got everything. I said no I'm still waiting on two items. He went in to get the food and came back to let us know it would be out shortly. At this point I was still hopeful. After about five minutes my son's meal came out but not the last meal we were waiting on. A few minutes later the manager came back to let me know my food was made incorrectly so he was having them re make my meal. Hopeful I nodded and continued to wait for my meal. I waited and waited and waited. One by one my family finished there food. When they were finished I told them to go to the car and I would get my food to go. So I continued to wait and wait and wait. One of the servers came to clean the table and ask is there something else you are waiting for? She was sweet and tried to help hurry the kitchen. I was trying to be patient and I really wanted my food so I continued waiting. My wife came back in confused and pissed rightfully so because it's her birthday! So I walked inside and ask the manager what he would want if he were in my shoes and he said I would want my burrito... Really?
After that I told him I want a full refund. I did receive my refund and I left. Jimmy hula was the restaurant that was here before talkin' tacos. They went out of business due to poor service and poor cleanliness. I hope they figure something out because the way I see it, they are on the same path.
This place does not sell any alcohol which is unfortunate when attempting to pair your tacos with a margarita.
The food came out quick and the reason for that is it probably was sitting on a warmer, the temperature was lukewarm at best for every item we had.
The tacos pack alot of flavor and there is alot of variety, by the standard you will pay 15+ dollars for three tacos.
The service fee which around 4 to 5 dollars for absolutely no reason per customer is grouped under taxes and fees as you expand the cost items. It is expensive and nearly predatory is one of the reasons I dont plan to visit again.
Talkin' Tacos at Oakleaf Town Center delivers on flavor — the food is genuinely good and you can tell care goes into it. If taste is your priority, you won't be disappointed.
That said, the pricing feels a bit steep compared to other local spots offering a similar experience. The food is worth trying, but the value doesn't quite match what you get for the price.
The service format also leaves something to be desired. The kiosk checkout setup creates long lines and wait times, and frankly takes away from the personal touch you get when a host or hostess greets and assists you. It makes the whole experience feel a bit clunky. With some adjustments to both pricing and the service model, this place has the potential to be a real standout. Worth a visit — just go in with those expectations.

When you first walk in, notice there are no cashiers. Just tablets. Which is a choice.
I ordered for 2 people. Appetizer chips and guacamole, tacos, and a burrito. Total over 50. Insane.
First that showed up was the tacos. Before the appetizer is weird but okay. These tacos are swimming in grease. Pretending to be street tacos. They are spiced well but you could hardly taste through the grease.
Then about 10 minutes later the chips and guacamole. About 30 Cold, stale chips Total and a bucket of guacamole that's half mashed up half still just solid avocado.
After another 5 to 10 minutes, the burrito finally shows up. Presented with more chips than the side of chips, and what appears to be a frozen burrito. Cold, mushy, but hey, not greasy. Small win.

First time at this restaurant. Ordered 2 quesadilla entrees 'dine in' a the kiosk for over $50. Paid, grabbed a table number and sat down. Was never greeted by anyone and there was such a large crowd around the 2 kiosks and the surrounding tables. Thinking this was the line to order, we stood for a while until realizing these were all people waiting for to go food. Again, the employees were so unorganized, I could see how broken the 'system' was. Our drinks came out and about 15 minutes later, ONE of the 2 entrees came out. Could not get the attention of any of the food runners. Went to the counter after 40 minutes of waiting, wading through the to go crowd and got the attention of one of the many people trying to expedite and she grabbed the ticket, which was 2-3 behind the lead ticket and offered me free churros. Another 20 minutes went by when they finally handed me the rest of my 2 item order. The ticket time literally shows that I waited one hour. Had to fuss and wait some more for them to comp just the one item.
